She really understands that the process of growing a child from conception to postpartum is not only physical but mental and emotional as well. With this in mind, she approaches her care for patients with understanding and empathy, always making sure that her ‘Mamas’ are not just surviving, but thriving! Thank you Dr. Nyvall for going above and beyond in your care for me and my two little ones! I can’t wait to visit you and your amazing team again for future pregnancies!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Nyvall delivered my third baby, which was by far my most dramatic and most intense birth. I can’t say enough good things about her, she was on my side from the get go and I never doubted it. The way she cared for me and my son was above and beyond. She was also a part of my first birth, and was so encouraging. She is a true advocate for Moms & babies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mary walked alongside me through the pregnancy and then sudden loss of our first child, and then through all the trauma that came with the pregnancies of three subsequent babes. Her kind, informative and gentle care allowed space for all my anxieties and I never felt pressured or dismissed for any of my desires for pregnancy care and birth. I felt completely safe and cared for, and was always reassured that she was doing everything she possibly could to keep us safe. Her comforting presence and knowledge that she would be there was one of the main keys that allowed me to continue to go on to fight to have the large family I wanted after our loss. I recommend her care to every single pregnant person I know!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mary Nyvall was my doctor, who became my friend. I started my first pregnancy with a regular GP who made me feel nervous and uncomfortable. The first time I walked into Mary’s office I didn’t even feel like I was with a doctor. The appointment was conversational and put me more at ease than any of my previous appointments with my other doctor.
Knowledgeable and caring, this is what you need as a pregnant woman or new mom. Someone who knows how important your mental health is as you become a new mom. Can’t say enough about this doctor and I wish this resource was around when I was having babies!

She has always made me feel more like family and not just another patient in her care. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laura was my midwife for my last two pregnancies and both experiences were exceptional; I can’t recommend her enough! She radiates joy in all she does and is such a warm, friendly person. She is knowledgeable and so passionate in her work. I have never felt more comfortable with any other health care provider as I did with her (which made for an incredible labour and delivery experience as well).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the greatest birth experiences with Laura. She delivered 2 of my babies. She is professional, knowledgeable, supportive, loving, caring, wonderful and on task. She was also a great help at breastfeeding with lots of great tips. I am so thankful that I had her as my care giver and she didn’t hesitate to call the tough calls to save my baby. I couldn’t have ask for better care, all the future mamas under her care would be VERY VERY lucky!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used multiple different care providers for my first two pregnancies and then I found Laura for my last two babies and she is just the best!
She has so much knowledge and expertise but is still so caring and encouraging. I always felt like she was on my side, an advocate for me but also so knowledgeable and decisive when it was time to get things done. She is so good at what she does! I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful care I received throughout my pregnancies and during my labours.
