j	jess michor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had nothing but great experiences dealing with Fountain Tire until yesterday when I came for my social distance sit in appointment. I didn't think I needed to dress for having to sit outside for an hour and a half. It was a cold and upleasant visit. Anyone concerned about getting and passing COVID to loved ones should either dress for the weather or avoid booking a sit in appointment. NONE of the staff had masks on, another man in the center of the waiting area was wearing his mask around one ear only. Extremely upsetting to learn how Fountain Tire really feels about safety and this cities bylaws. Good news for antimaskers however if you have any sense you might want to ask yourself if killing Grandma is worth new tires. I will never return. The owner responded saying that the bylaws were followed but I was expected to sit next to a man with no mask on as per the photo. I should have just left and not let them work on my car at all but it was overwhelming in that moment. In the height of a pandemic if the bare minimum is your attitude towards safety, claiming safety as a priority is ridiculously inaccurate. Additionally having your employees shoulder to shoulder behind plexiglass but maskless is an unsafe work environment for them, no protection from each other. Fountain Tires lack of consideration for the health part of health and safety is painfully clear.

I called right at 730am as I needed 4 new tires for my trailer that day as we were heading out that day to go camping. They had the tires I needed and were accommodating. The exact words were we can do whatever is easier for you, you bring the tires in or the trailer and we will do the swap for you. Showed up at 11 and was out of there in less than an hour. My trailer is 38’ and we were able to back in by the back bay doors no problem. Price was great too. Likely my new tire shop for sure.

I dropped in during a busy spring tire changing season with a low pressure warning indicating either a slow leak or bead leak on a bad rim which was the case. Great team effort. Well done.

Had an appointment at 1 thinking I could wait an hour or hour and a half for them to finish. I finally received a text at 2:45 showing my car Vehicle Condition Report. It said I was missing 3 lug nuts on one tire. So I called and said I would have to buy 3 more at $9 each. They said my car would be another 30 mins or so. Finally left after 4pm. Drove home to notice I had a flat tire. Tire wouldn’t even take air, it was coming out as fast as it was going in from the rim. Call to let them know and was asked if I could bring it back…. Nope, sorry. So, they said they will come pick up my tire the next day. To then get my bag out with my lock nut key in it so I can take my tire off and find 3 lug nuts. Will not be returning other than to bring the 3 new lug nuts back for a refund.

The price was around 43 dollar a little expensive but I paid cause next day I had to go to red deer. They told me that I had to replace my tires. After a week I went to Costco tires and the guys over there told me that I don't have to change my tires everything was OK and I have tires for two more season. The worst thing was at the end the guys in costco check my tires and told me the tires were inflated till 60psi. A really bad experience there.

Also the tires arrive the same day I called and he was able to squeeze me in same day to have them installed. Thank you for fantastic service Robin!
