My dad brought his 04 BMW X5 in for suspension repair and radiator replacement which was a big job. Serge and Lana really knocked it out the park on this one. They are true example of how shops should handle their business. Everything from the initial repair quote to final delivery was a great experience! Another great note is their communication, any questions we had we could always get them on the line with a direct and honest answer. Lastly they did a light clean which had the X5 looking better than when it first came in which we appreciated! This shop deserves more recognition as a top local business and anyone looking for a reliable shop should have no doubt about bringing there vehicles here for anything from an oil change to large jobs. THIS is the place to get your car repaired. Very knowledgeable staff and they dont tell you BS just to get an extra buck, straight facts and options to have the repairs done. Very fast an efficient team.

We are located 6 hours from Calgary … we booked in advance we’re scheduled for contaminated fuel issues, supplied fuel filters from this business prior to get it to Calgary… brought it in to have the obvious issues resolved … scheduled for two days … ended being in four days came out with same problems it went in for … and worse …they broke or lost necessary pieces … used inadequate zip ties to replace … have not taken responsibility or compensated or rectified the obvious problems … did not even replace fuel filter … took payment and the van did not clear city limits before we had the same problems we brought it in for … the vehicle had to be abandoned and left in Calgary with significant inconvenience we made it home 6 hrs away … avoid this business owner is not reliable nor accountable for his work ! My trust and good faith was taken advantage of ! The work was inadequate and no regard for the inconvenience created …

We have been taking our '07 Sprinter here since we bought it in 2013, on the recommendation of a friend. It was a great decision, and despite the drive from Canmore it is always worth it to have it maintained by Sergey. He knows Sprinters exceptionally well, does thorough diagnostics and knows what is needed to keep these vans going for a long time. He always lets us know what needs to be done ASAP, and what can wait for a bit longer (e.g. he never tries to sell us unnecessary maintenance). Sergey and his wife are very professional, with great communication and thorough invoicing. We'll continue taking our van here as long as we own it.

Reasonably priced, friendly assistant at the front desk, quick appointment times available, near Chinook Train station. Didn't get a chance to check my headlights, and didn't go over what was left on my brake pads, but was able to replace a missing Torx screw, and also washed my vehicle. Recommended a brake fluid flush by Fall. I would bring my Saab here again!

Sergey and his team are hands down the absolute best place to bring your Mercedes-Benz even if everyone else tells you to give the car up. My Mercedes S420 broke down back in 2019. After bringing it from one shop to another in Edmonton where nobody was willing to identify the problem I decided to give it a shot with Astra Automotive and had it towed to Calgary in May 2020. The team there were quick to change every broken piece and replaced it with OEM parts professionally while Sergey always kept me updated with the work performed and explained exactly what they were doing. They suggested putting a new engine in because the amount of work they were doing to replace the parts of the engine it would make financially more sense to put a new engine in. They were able to get an engine (the only one in Canada) that came off an S500 coupe originally from Ontario and I dont know how many wheels they had to put in motion to make that happen and gave me time to catch up financially to pay the bill. I've been financially struggling a lot because of Covid restrictions and I can imagine that it impacted the store also. But they were ALWAYS willing to help and I don't think any other store would have as much patience with me to pay the repair bills as much as Astra Automotive. I have never met the owner Sergey in person but I would truly trust him with my life. He made sure the car was protected and safe throughout the whole 2 years its been in their posession and were always willing to help me with giving me more time to make payments. And when I finally were able to pay the repair bill off I received my beloved now converted to an S500 W140 I am still in dosbelieve how much care and love they put into this car for it to be back on the road riding as smooth and comfortable as ever! I don't only recomment but encourage anyone with a classic Mercedes-Benz to bring it to this special place where Sergey and his team at Astra automotive are able to bring back the dead and repair, rebuilt and revive a Mercedes to its former glory in outstanding quality and performance! This shop may not have the exterior dazzle of a dealership but, it sure has the service and professionalism of one. I have been taking my 550i there for a little more than a year and have nothing but praise for the work and reasonable billing. I get that owning a high performance car is going to be more expensive on maintenance than a minivan or small commuter car but so far, thanks to these folks, its not been nearly as expensive as it could have been if I was dealing with the Dealership. It may be a small point but they also remember/recognize me when I walk in and in a city of nearly 1.5 million faces, that's a nice feeling. Located close to Chinook Center Mall perfect for killing time and/or the train station for getting home after droping your car off.
