★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over several months last year Florwest built a master suite and garage addition on our Maple Ridge home. We roughly doubled the square footage of our rancher, as well as made many improvements to the existing home.
Owner Dan has worked hard to develop a good working relationship with the city. Right from the start with surveys and architectural drawings he made sure every detail was checked off to get the plans approved quickly and the build going smoothly. Everything to do with the permit and inspection process was flawless.
When you hire Florwest, not only do you get Dan’s crew of skilled trades people, you get access to all kinds of subcontractors he trusts. From excavation all the way through to final details, Dan always had someone a phone call away to provide whatever was needed. Everyone who worked in our home was pleasant and professional.
Construction during this time of Covid and supply chain interruptions was not without its challenges. Dan worked hard to find savings wherever possible, and stayed well ahead on ordering materials to make sure long lead times didn’t slow down the build.
We’re happy with the end result and love the new space in our home. If we ever do any other work we would certainly call Florwest.

The workmanship was top notch and they made it look easy, I decided to make some changes along the build and they were great to accommodate my request, I pictured building a house to be stressful and Dan truly made it enjoyable. I have already referred friends and family to use Florwest and will continue to do so.

Dan and his team were very professional and friendly. I really liked Dan’s communication style as we were always in the loop to the next steps and progress of the project. We stayed on budget and where there were any changes (that we had suggested) he would provide us with an updated cost. I always felt fairly treated and Dan would ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. I would highly recommend Forwest for future projects.
