Our History
Flaman Fitness is a proud member of the Flaman Group of Companies, which was founded in 1959 as a local agricultural retailer in the small community of Southey in southern Saskatchewan. By offering top quality products at competitive prices, and paying close attention to the needs of our customers, Flaman has grown steadily since those humble beginnings. Flaman currently operates retail stores across Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario and our product line has expanded to include trailers, rental equipment, security products, and of course, fitness equipment.
Flaman Fitness started in the early 1990's, when company founder Frank Flaman recognized the growing market for health and fitness products. The company moved quickly and aggressively into this market, and in only a decade, we have become the largest fitness equipment retailer in Western Canada. As with all things Flaman, this success has been achieved through quality products, competitive prices, and a steadfast commitment to customer service. As a reflection of our success, we have recently opened two massive new retail stores in Edmonton and Saskatoon to showcase the vast Flaman Fitness product line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to buy a massage roller, but after talking to Tony who showed me the"flow pro message gun" and tried it out, I was sold on it instead. Its more effective than balls and rollers. Knowledgeable staff and will be back as a return customer. ??

Tony gave me detailed explanations for all the options. He also gave me some tips workout programs. Thank Tony for the helps!! I strongly recommend this place and him!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For some reason (assume covid related) treadmills are hard to come by. We ordered our spirit model and it fi ally arrived. Took a drive to Red Deer to pick it up. The box is huge but Kim helped us get it into the car and we strapped down the hatch. Completing the sale was fast and kim and her staff were friendly and courteous. We chose Red Deer as they answered their phone and kim helped us decide on a model. Thank You Kim

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will not shop here any more. They allow their drivers to smoke and flick cigarettes out the window. Absolute disrespectful to the environment. With all the man made fires going on, you would think think there is common sense to help prevent this. I would rather make the drive to Edmonton or Calgary to buy my equipment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took about 4 months for a barbell attachment that I bought to be delivered to the store. Had i known it would have taken so long I would have just drove to edmonton or calgary and bought one.
Tried going there to buy something since my last review. They closed 15 minutes early. Last time I try buying something from there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place to go! After one bad customer service experience elsewhere and one no show for an appointment again elsewhere, the service here was beyond expectations. Didn't have an elliptical for me to try, but gave several options to look to try in my small town (never crossed my mind). Spent time looking at options, and provided info on solutions and order time frames. Really appreciated him. Will buy there just based upon his kindness and commitment.
