★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rick was instrumental in our repairs. He came to our home and was very knowledgeable. He identified the problem and explained to us exactly what was going on. He was not patronizing and helped us understand how to prevent issues in the future. I definitely recommend Rick for repairs and for installation. Quality is the upmost importance to Rick, which is a huge bonus for me. He gets the job done, and ensures it is done well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best plumbing outfit in Red Deer. These guys literally saved our rental property! We had a flood in our basement in the middle of the night on a Saturday and called about 10 other plumbing outfits that said that they were "24/7" online. To our dismay we discovered that no one would answer their phones or return our calls. We finally called Flostar...the gentleman who answered the phone in the middle of the night was extremely polite and accommodating. He advised us how to turn off the water and prevent more damage until he could get to that side of the city. He arrived onsite within the half hour and had the leak repaired within the hour. He also went back to their shop (free of charge I should mention) and got us several air movers to help clean up the water damage and prevent molding. I can't say enough positive things about this company! We will definitely be using them for any and all of our plumbing & heating needs in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rick and his apprentice were fantastic. Both highly professional and easy to learn from regarding the ins and outs of what was going on with our various plumbing issus. They worked with us to find a convenient time to come (after being burned by several other tradespeople regarding scheduling, this was huge for us) including unclogging drains and installation of a new water heater. He was thorough, communicative, laid out different options clearly and was a pleasure to work with. We won't be messing around trying to find other plumbing services in the future as long as Rick is operating in Central Alberta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flostar responded quickly when our older home in Rosedale had its (18 year) 40 gal hot water tank stop working. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and highly professional with all aspects of the business from initial discussion/problem-solving the issue, to accommodating our schedule, supplying a accurate quote, to the tank install/old tank removal and to the final billing with no surprise costs or hidden fees. They took the time to explain the install and walked through the new tanks features so I wasn't left figuring it out on my own.
Our new replacement tank was in place and the old tank removed quickly with quality workmanship and at a very competitive price with minimal disruption to our day and household water intake. We have had no issues with the new tank since, and are very satisfied with the work performed.
I highly recommend Flostar to all Red Deer and Central Alberta homeowners for any and all plumbing needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was away and came home the Thanksgiving weekend. My water heater was stuck on vacation mode and nothing I did helped. I contacted Flostar and made an appointment for Tuesday. I believe it was Rick who came, showed me what was wrong and advised me I could either get parts or a new tank. My tank is almost 16+ years old and I never heard of the make which could also mean they don't make the parts anymore. I opted for a new tank. Rick explained all the options of the tanks available for me. Water tanks are not cheap but Rick never pushed for me to buy the most expensive and gave me his thoughts on which one to buy. I appreciate gonesty. Was without hot water for a week. On Monday as advised, Flostar showed up with a new tank, installed it and Rick explained everything about the warranty etc with the tank.
Josh his apprentice came to help install the tank. Both were professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and took the dirt with them. This was my first time dealing with Flostar and I will surely be calling them if I have an issue in future.
I recommend trying them.
