Fish Creek Medical Clinic - Calgary

I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. Called girls a walkin appt right when they opened and they took me later that morning. The receptionist was extremely friendly, nurse helpful, and the doctor very capable. THANK YOU for your help and kindness on a very difficult day for me ❤. I would definitely go again .

I am unsure why all the negative reviews about the reception staff here. I have been going to this clinic for about 10 years and have never experienced a negative event. Yes, sometimes the ladies are very busy and don't have as long to chat, but in my experience if you are kind and polite to them, they are nothing but kind in return.

I have been going to this clinic for a year now hoping they would do something with their customer experience especially the the staff who answers phone calls and does the referrals. My experience is that they have been very impersonal and apathetic. I believe they need to be more respectful and be more customer friendly and focused. I heard comments like "I'm just doing my job" and almost as if they want to blame customers when they make a mistake because they were in a hurry and not listening to their clients. Also they interrupt you while you are talking which is quite rude. My doctor was referring me to a sports doctor and I said that I would like a specific doctor. I said I will call back with the name. I called back and gave the name of the doctor to the referral staff. Got a call the next day from a different doctors office. They did not even let me know that they were referring me to a different doctor. The staff needs to do a better job at this. I am just about ready to go to another clinic.

All my stars goes to Dr.Hanif, wished if I have more stars to give him. His passion towards medical science and compassion for the patients is heart touching. After meeting Dr.Hanif, me and my wife do not even think to consider any other doctor for my family. His positive attitude towards patients and friendliness helped me discuss my illness in details. He actually listens to patients and solve the problems from its root. He is the BEST... Front desk staff is very polite and supportive. Highly recommended Medical Clinic!!! Thank you Hanif Sir!!!!

I've had only great experiences here, very friendly and respectful. There are several physicians and though they're a busy clinic, they are accommodating and efficient. There is an attached pharmacy as well which is very convenient.

I feel a need to voice my opinion about this clinic. Over the past 3 weeks I had huge medical issues and every time I called into the clinic, they ALWAYS squeezed me in. The staff at the front desk are exceptional and truly remembers and cares for my well being. Thank you so much for all you do to accommodate the patients.

Fish Creek Medical has been our go-to since moving to Calgary and they're an amazing team. The staff at the front desk are always friendly, efficient and caring. Dr. Wong has been nothing short of great, he truly goes above and beyond with his patients wellbeing and he genuinely cares about them/ their situations. Cannot recommend this place more!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I would seriously not recommend this place. The receptionist is rude and condescending and acts like she's doing you a favour by answering the phone. We are new to Calgary and decided to go to Fish Creek Medical as its the nearest to our home. We had been warned that their staff was rude and difficult to deal with but didn't think it would be an issue. Our daughter saw Dr Wong for a prescription. Unbeknownst to her, he didn't put any refills on this script, which is what her paediatrician used to do. I called there and spoke with reception and asked if the Dr could phone in a script to the pharmacy. I was told no. I unexplained that she was out of medication and it would be detrimental for her to miss a dose. The medication is to treat anxiety. After a couple of minutes of her being difficult and unwilling to help, I told her she was being unkind and unsympathetic. I told her that we would be going elsewhere. She apologized and magically said she could get the Dr to forward a script to the pharmacy. I guess that magical option hadn't dawned on her 5 minutes previous when I'd suggested it. My daughter had her follow up app with him today. His first words to her were, "I hear your Mom freaked out on my receptionist" I called him once my daughter told me how rude he was the the appointment. Explained to him the actual situation that happened between his receptionist and myself and told him I thought he was unprofessional for bringing a teenager into a situation that she wasn't involved in. He said nothing. Like...nothing.I will be putting forth a formal complaint for what he said to my daughter. Hope it was worth losing 3 patients for. The Dr's at fish creek should really have a look at the google reviews. There are numerous negative reviews regarding their receptionist....dating back months and years. But sure...it must be all in the patients minds
