I can not even begin to explain how awful my experience in this apartment has been. FirstService Residential has been nothing but unprofessional, unresponsive, and EXTREMELY unhelpful. My CURRENT property manager is Yvonne, as I dont blame her for most of the situation occurring in our building ( they've changed our person of contact 3 times , each without notice or any contact information ) . She has followed suit along the others for 1. not answering phone calls/ returning them ( and I mean... like ever) , 2. not following up on any complaints, & 3. treating me and others very unprofessionally. I have asked to speak to someone higher up, to which I got the response from Yvonne that I was not able to do that & she will be my only point of contact . I find that absurd because getting ahold of her is more often then not, impossible. We've created a forum within our building to converse with other tenants about the issues were having, the main one being our heat in the building. The first email I had sent regarding the heat not working was on Nov 24,2021 to which I did not receive a reply.. also have left several voicemails ( because the phone goes to voicemail almost every single time ) It is now Jan 6,2022 and all of the tenants are experiencing the same issue. In -30 weather, you'd think heat working would be a priority. We received a notice to enter on December 31,2021 regarding the heat issues & NO ONE SHOWED UP... to any suites. Most tenants right now are running space heaters throughout the apartment ( at our cost, as we pay for the electricity) We have also been consistently experiencing people who do not live in the building, sleeping in the entrance ( one who had actually attacked a tenant ) . Multiple break-ins have occurred on parked vehicles outside of the building, & also ones in the underground parking lot with no resolution to the problem. Today I spoke with a customer care agent from first residential in regards to my issues with the heat , and property manager. She advised me that my ONLY point of contact is the property manager that I am calling to complain about... who has done almost nothing to help tenants with our issues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESIDENTIAL COMPANY TO ANYONE.. It has been nothing but a poor experience which seems to have no end in sight. here are some comments from other tenants in the forum " i think our thermostat is too. we had maitenance come out. they said everything seems to be working. the lines are hot, but still now theres no actual heat being distributed throughout our suite. its cold. we've had to use a space heater, which i also emailed her about. saying that we'd like them to take off some of the cost of our rent due to now having to run this heater all the time. our power bill is going to be insane. she always deflects in the email, ignoring that statement. this is the worst management company ive ever dealt with" "The heating issues appear as the constant issue (not in my head anymore)… Extremely disappointing to have received notice last week that somebody was going to come attend our suites and rectify the outstanding heating issues that we're dealing with… Only for no one to show up, yet again! Fort Crossing is eager to look after our needs when warranted lol. " "ALSO, i message "Salma Banu" MULTIPLE times complaining about things or have general inquiries but i NEVER get an answer. like cool nice to know no one is managing this place" " Yvonne is not overly prone to responding to emails... I sent her an email approx four weeks ago ?βœ‰, still no response to this day. Did you know if you listen really hard you can hear Yvonnes eyes rolling... in my opinion she is not a people person and does not care about us"

Kendra Kempin deserves a raise. No matter what she makes, she deserves a huge raise. She is the most accommodating representative I have ever had to pleasure of dealing with. I would recommend dealing with her at every opportunity.

I work at a Law Firm in Camrose, I got the pleasure of working with Crystal in the Calgary office as the administrator, community support services. Crystal was quick on responses, and was helpful with all of my questions and getting me the documents we required on time. I hope to work with Crystal on all future transactions.

This is a regular work good company. Beyond the tasks that they organise to fulfill well, their staff, at least here, is poorly mannered for replying questions or other issues/problems. I have now written to the community manager, the supervisor and the regional director to get some answers and offer some suggestions, from the first communication to today it is over 30 days, from the last communication to the regional director to today it is over 10 days, and still no reply: this is poor professional behaviour.

Two of my condos unfortunately use this company. The MO for both has been the same, no communication, no meetings, need to pay $10 to receive minutes/any documents. Managers are useless. Didn't even receive a notice for a condo fee increase?? I haven't had an AGM for one condo in 3 years and the other condo in 2 years. Covid aside, many other management companies have figured out how to do virtual meetings by now.

I have lived here for over a year. Salma Banu and Mike in maintenance have been fantastic. They are super responsive to any questions or concerns that I have had. The building is clean, quiet and a nice place to live. By far the best management team that I have ever had. Even my cat loves Mike!

Great service! I have a tight schedule to meet after my unit is Condition Sold. I requested the 'Information/Disclosure Statement' 2 days late and I had to forward the document to the buyer party in 6 business days. So I sent an email to the 'Admin Team' who process the documents and requested for assistance. On FirstService Residential's website. it states that this document requires 4 to 10 business days to prepare. This morning, I received a reply from Kendra Kempin - she assured me that she would complete this document for me today. I know that she understood the urgency of my situation and she went above and beyond. I am grateful to her! I want to give her the five stars for the excellent service! Kendra, you made my day! Thank you!!

Jessica Li is the community coordinator for our condo building and has been absolutely fantastic in providing us with fantastic customer service. We recently moved into our condo unit of this stunning complex and Jessica has made herself readily available to be of assistance to ensure that our orientation with the building has been seamless and is always available to quickly and cheerfully provide the information we require. We are very impressed with her level of professionalism and cheerful disposition. Jessica has been absolutely instrumental in our first impressions of the quality of service standards that FirstService provides to our beautiful new home.
