We understand the importance of a family’s archive of […]

Greg was absolutely amazing to work with. I owe a huge debt of gratitude - I was able to recover several meaningful photographs because Film Rescue had saved them in their database. Additionally their quick response time, friendly service, and helpful post-processing work was highly appreciated. I can't recommend them enough!

Amazing customer and restoration services. They took me back to a time when I did not exist through their restoration work on my dad's kodak films. They returned my kodak transparencies intact. Greg was the best.

I had about 17 rolls of 20-year-old undeveloped film left to me by my late parents. The only place I could find that I trusted enough with these rolls of film was Film Rescue International. They were personable in my initial contact about having the film developed, and were knowledgable as well. While it wasn't cheap, I knew that I could trust their work and that they would treat my film as if it were their own. I was blessed with pictures of both my late parents, my late grandparents, and other holidays, family gatherings, and vacations from my childhood. I cannot thank Film Rescue enough for the care that they took with my film. I was so excited to get my gallery back that I dreamt about it 3 nights. Thank you so much.

I found a black and white 126 film cartridge that expired in 1973 in my parents' basement. Along with it, I found a Kodak Instamatic 150 camera that still worked. I loaded the film in the camera and shot some pictures. I originally took it to a local camera shop and they sent it off to the developers that they use. (not Film Rescue) When I got it back, they sent me a 4 blurred, washed out, fuzzy pictures that you could barely even make out any detail. And they wouldn't give me my money back for the prints (not Film Rescue). I then spoke with Greg at Film Rescue. He told me to send him the negatives and he would use their more intense developing process and see if he could get any more detail out of the negatives. He said their process allows them to squeeze more out of the negatives than other developers can do. He offered to do this at no charge for me as a courtesy. I was impressed with his kindness. I sent Film Rescue the negatives that were developed by the other developers. After processing the film, Film Rescue sent me back digital scans of my images that were heads and shoulders above the quality of my original prints. There was 10 times better contrast and detail. I could see blades of grass and small details that weren't in the original prints from the other developers. Film Rescue brought out dark and light colors and detail that wasn't in the prints from the original developers. If you have old, dated, expired analog film I highly recommend that you send it to film rescue. According to their site, they use a 3 step process that most developers of film don't use. I don't know all the steps of their process, but I know they got a LOT more detail and contrast out of my film that the other guys didn't even get close to. You can see the results that I posted below. The blurry one is the print developed by someone else. The sharp clear print is what Film Rescue did with my print. This is from 44 year old film. I took this picture a couple months ago with the Instamatic camera. The difference is night and day!

These are professionals in everything they do. You can tell that they have a passion for bring back memories through film. I found some old, undeveloped film in a storage bin and I asked Film Rescue International about my options. I couldn't find any place in my city who would touch it. Tiffany with Film Rescue International quickly provided me with all the information I needed, and she walked me through every step, or answered my questions promptly and thoroughly. I feel like, after this white glove service--and then the 1977 vacation photos I saw for the first time--was priceless. This is an amazing team who perform magic.

Not cheap, but worth every penny !!!!!!!!!! First we had 12 rolls of undeveloped film I found at my mother-in-laws. Film Rescue answered all my questions and walked me through the process. In the end, they were able to save 119 pictures ... about 20 were fantastic quality. My mother-in-law was brought to tears. Then I had 12 rolls of 8mm home movies my parents had taken 60 years ago. They were brittle and fading. Film rescue did an amazing job of digitizing them! The color is better than I had remembered. All my childhood memories now on my computer to see. It was almost mesmerizing seeing family who had long passed away waving at the camera. FANTASTIC WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had 20 year old film, and wasn't expecting the quality to be very good, but wow, was I wrong! Film Rescue is a fitting name! The photos are beautiful, and their customer service is incredible. They send you a very organized gallery to view, and then you can choose which ones you want, as well as any specialty services, like prints, quality and colorization. These guys are unbelievably good at what they do. I highly recommend them, and am so very happy I found these extremely talented people.
