They’re supposed to open at 9 am and it’s 11 after, I called the store and they said they won’t let us in until the pharmacist gets here it’s literally -13 with the windchill outside and none of us even want the pharmacy. We just want to buy what we need and leave. Terrible TERRIBLE customer service.
J	Janice Carr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shoppers Drug Mart used to be one of my favourite stores downtown. With the addition of the self check out there, I am feeling like I am pushed to use them. I always purchase multiple items there but for some reason they send me to the self check station. Although they do scan my items, I wonder why we do not use the regular check out counter?? I have asked them and the response is they are trying to reduce the line. I can't help but think if they had 2 cashiers there wouldn't have been a line up. I don't like to use the self check or be encouraged to. I like to see and speak to the cashier.

She went over and above to make me feel welcome and redid all my paperwork because of a part that was overlooked. She was amazing friendly warm and caring. The pharmacist who did my covid vaccine was also the best. I didn’t even feel it. So far no side effects either. Thank so much to all the staff at the pharmacy today u all were truly amazing.
L	L B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find this shoppers a better one to shop at in Lindsay, much more helpful and friendly. Much preferred over uptown shoppers drug mart! Edit, bad experience next time with lazy workers who wouldn't budge and stared us down like we're evil for not getting out before closing. Very judgemental looks not necessary.
l	l b on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went into shoppers downtown today with my daughter and the angry lady who obviously hates her job as she yelled to my daughter who had no mask on to get one on and told us both, I had a mask on.. not to continue walking thru store as she called security staff to front of store while we walked out. Unbelievable disgusting behaviour. Also the Other shoppers did not act like this today.

Not to be rude but you should have someone up at front at all times not being rude and you can’t buy lottery tickets and you can’t use cash at a self check! Self checkout are useless and it takes away peoples job!

I came in with my mom and she was so concerned about me wearing a mask. I mentioned I'm not wearing one and she says "pardon me" like as if I was rude and lashed out at her and told me I can't be in the store. Treated me like I was a little kid and couldn't even defend myself verbally. She just wanted to tell me off and have me say nothing. Too bad. So Sad. I gladly walked through the store and left right when I came in. Shoppers uptown is not the same rude treatment.
