★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They seem very proud to maintain segregationist vax passport policy. As a result the vibe was sad and sort of downtrodden. My friends and I left and went down the street instead, where it was friendlier, welcoming, and much more lively. Note to owner: passports don’t work and this will not help your business. I was a fairly frequent patron before the pandemic; I won’t be returning now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not really a fan of cocktails but this bar made some excellent cocktails, the atmosphere was good, the aesthetic was great, the service was very good.
The price was decent, maybe a bit higher than I expected, having said that I generally wouldn't be able to tell you the going rate of a cocktail in Toronto.
Definitely worth checking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favourite cocktail bars in the city! As its name implies, it's a literary-themed bar, with drinks and decor inspired by great literature. The cocktails are inventive and interesting. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if they will survive the pandemic, but I hope they do. This is a cool and unique, almost speakeasy type place. Great spot to hang out before a restaurant reservation is ready, or to meet friends for a cocktail. Can't wait to go back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this spot. Cozy and clever, the bar is made with Scrabble tiles, the walls full of books and the cocktails are one-of-a-kind. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Not a whole lot of tables available, mostly small so you can’t come here with a large group.
Drinks here are unique and made well. They aren’t watered down and we’re priced decently.
As another reviewer mentioned, they don’t serve food so make sure you eat before.

If you are in the area it's absolutely worth stopping by. They also have a selection of non alcoholic cocktails which is really wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re into books and reading then this is the cocktail bar for you. The book themed cocktail menu is interesting and from what I’ve heard, they update the menu once in a while. I really liked the Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo cocktail. Every other drink I had was pretty good too.
