I have been once since the new ownership took over and the magic of the space is very much still in tact. The fried chicken is amazing, and the cheese plate was beyond. really really great cannot wait to go back <3

Our waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our every need was met throughout the evening. The food was sublime. I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite and we sampled almost everything on the menu between us! It was an absolutely perfect evening and I'm so glad we live right around the corner so we can go again soon!

My go-to dish is the hummus breakfast bowl - salty and savoury with a kick of spice. It might not sound as sexy as the duck confit toast (which my partner swears by, incidentally), but it's a game changer. You'll also enjoy friendly and attentive staff, good drip coffee, great playlists, and if you're looking for hair of the dog, you can't go wrong with the mimosa. Highly recommend!

The best service and very attentive to my meal orders. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful finish to a memorable day. I returned post-Covid lock-down for a dinner out. Again, a meal to perfection!

The food was DELICIOUS! Highly highly recommend the duck confit.. definitely go for brunch! but book a reservation if you can.

We will definitely be going back again, and are excited to go for a dinner to check out those options as we were very impressed with the brunch selection. Highly recommend.

We had the torched mackerel special, the brussels sprout dish, fried chicken, and the sticky toffee pudding. All were excellent. The bartender was very polite and had great recommendations. He had a really great knowledge of the wines and beers carried at the restaurant and helped me make a very unique choice on my wine that paid off. Everything arrived quickly despite the very high traffic. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be back at this local bar where the owners actually work in the kitchen and make everything from scratch!

Their in house hot sauce was delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back. Great experience.
