★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service from the staff. I have to line up 3 times just to pay. Cashier 1 left without saying anything. Cashier 2 close the till when I’m about to go to her. She yelled at her co-worker to open his till very condescending.
It’s obvious that they are not happy working there that’s why they work poorly and zero customer service skills.
Prices are more expensive but the quality has gone down.
Management and owners need to revisit their employees performance and manage the store better.
Finding a different respectable grocery that would like to have my business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice store, great options for bulk food and general groceries. When is come to fresh fish and meats I wasn’t much impressed by they display. Done good bread and crackers, cheese selection was good abs veggies also. Some items are a good price and many a bit $$$ so you really need to look well. Overrule like the place and will come back just because the options on bulk products

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous foods is hands down the best little grocery store in Vancouver. And I say little bit it has everything you needs, has a bigger range of specialty goods (organic, gluten free, minimal packaging) then a lot of the bigger and more expensive stores. It’s quick to get in and do a shop and leave without feeling overwhelmed. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Family favourite through and through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One stop shopping place. It is a great local option for variety of bulk, natural and general groceries. Rare finds that can't be found on bulk at other markets. Best accessed by car but limited parking. The store can get busy quite quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The problem with this Famous Foods location is that the pick up service is poorly organized. It is chaos in the back, they cannot find our order with three staff back there and this has happened twice now! The warehouse staff needs better training.
If you want things brought to your car expect long delays and I would recommend picking up items in the store yourself as it is faster.
The prices are pretty good and that is why I gave them a 3 star rating instead of 1 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. Their stock/selection is stellar. Their selection of flours, dried beans, dried fruits, granolas, veggie microwave meals, and so much more is just wonderful. Their hours are good too! The staff are super helpful and friendly. Just a great place to shop overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still the best place for goat's milk dairy products and gluten free products, non-sulfured, unsweetened dried fruits, for organic meats, for bulk seeds and spices, and really good coffee. If you have food allergies of any kind, this place should be on your list of go-to places. I moved from East Van to Burnaby, to Surrey ....and for more than thirty years, Famous Foods has been my go-to for all my "special" food needs. Did I mention that their organic meats are really good. ...well, they are.
