★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice heated pool - Washrooms not kept up - Plugged toilets -no paper towels in men’s or women’s - Showers: warm water..no hot water - camping lots are full of puddles ....
but it’s a nice quiet spot with good fishing...? Still way better than Happy Bee in Barrie ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed October of 2019 The park was quiet.Staff was friendly and helpful.The grounds were clean and the restroom with showers were in need of a fresh paint but the water was hot and had good pressure. Loved fishing off the docks every morning and my time there hoping to visit again soon. We are also hoping to someday having a seasonal site here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to camp for a night or longer. Friendly owners who take pride in their home & business. Even though the place appears small there was lots of room for our 40ft RV & good tree clearance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay. River on the campsite runs out into the main lake of Nipissing. Its only 2km away by boat. The campsite pool is very clean and looks like new. Pull through sites and level with gravel and grass. Close by us the sunset dinner cruz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park was perfect for our overnight stay but I wouldn't recommend for more than a day/overnight.
Pros:
– The kids had a great time in the pool which was clean and very nice looking.
– although a little outdated, the bathrooms were very clean and also smelled clean.
– People were very friendly, exuding the small town charm as they waved and went on with their business.
– Quiet at night. No rowdy crowds, family friendly.
– Pet friendly!!!
– Decent price.
Cons:
– The park was very minimalistic.
-‐ Privacy was very limited and we were right by the swamp, which was a bit of an eyesore. Also our camper was sinking due to the soft ground because of the swamp. We had to pull up a bit and re-level. It didn't make or break the trip, just a bit annoying.
–The way the lots were positioned made it confusing for us and clearly other guests as there was another camper parked almost on top of our fire ring, sadly we had to ask him to move his trailer more onto his side. Not his fault as most campsites we have been to over the years are very obvious with the layout.
– On this very hot day in August, we quickly realized there were no trees or shade remotely close to our site. Even the awning from our trailer was not sufficient due to the position of the sun.We ended up touring the city and visiting family while there to avoid sitting at the camp in the scorching the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful, clean, quiet, and friendly campground! Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and family. Stayed by the river and next time will bring fishing rods and hope to stay longer to be able to use all it offers.
