★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Wifi is great. Wood and ice delivery to site. Owner and third wife are thoughtful and caring people with a fabulous autistic son who helps run the park. All family members involved with running this facility do so with the most professional and friendly attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at campgrounds clear across Canada. This by far is my favourite - so much so that we now make an annual trip. The RV sites are immaculate. The staff are incredibly responsive - making it job 1 to ensure your stay is memorable. From ice and wood delivered to your site to helping tether down our awning when a storm was coming, The management couldn’t have done more for us! Situated within city limits yet nestled among beautiful treed sites, it was quite a new experience for us to have the option of having pizza delivered to our RV from a local restaurant. I highly recommend this exceptional RV park. Looking forward to our 6th August long weekend visit in 2020!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location for visits into town. The park and beach nearby was a nice addition. Friendly staff. Large grassy sites with a nice amount of trees. Clean bathrooms and hot clean, hot showers. Will be our place to stay whenever we travel through again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife wrote a review yesterday about Champlain Campground. I totally agree with it but there is more I think. As a husband it is important that my wife not only likes where we camp but also enjoys our stay. We drive 3-4 hours to North Bay to stay at Champlain whose owner goes out of his way to greet us each time. The campsite offers laundry facilities, clean bathrooms & showers and friendly service. Beyond feeling at home here it is close to shopping, tourist attractions and the highway. We tent it, the tent sites are amazing! Tree lined with plenty of shade & grassy, off the road enough that we don’t get the dust from cars. The huge trees keep the tent cool when hot. When it rains they offer some protection for little while. The sites are large enough for a huge tent, sun shelter and our car. They offer just enough privacy. The grounds are quiet at night. Each has a fire pit, of which firewood is delivered right to our site along with ice & other items from their store. My wife & I have increased the number of nights we stay & how many times we go. All because we love the site we get & how we are treated while there. I highly recommend Champlain Campground, it is our go to place where everyone treats us like family. We always know what we are getting for a site & I personally hope that never changes. P.S. the corn is great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has wood, ice, and pop all delivered right to your site. The owners are phenomenal, the kind lady who works there is also a great human being. Also his son delivers the wood and has excellent customer service skills. Lots of kids around who love playing and love the park. Will return next year for sure. Very peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was really close to a dog park and an awesome beach. The campsites are a little too close together for me but they each have a fire pit and a picnic table and its clean and all the campers respect the curfew/noise rules so you don't have to listen to any all night party people! Firewood is delivered to your site too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No problems at all! Friendly owners and guests. Offerred me free fire wood. Showed us Eagle's nest, saw a fox, tips for fishing, went for a dip, hike, picnic, saw fireworks. Great camping experience.
