Lesley has practiced primarily in the area of family law for nearly 30 years, having been called to the bar during 1992. She has appeared in all levels of court in Alberta and has extensive experience in the Court of Appeal of Alberta. She has taken on a number of matters on the cutting edge of family law, resulting in over 35 reported cases. Lesley has been an independent practitioner throughout her career and worked in association with several firms. She has taken her responsibilities to the bar very seriously by mentoring junior lawyers for over 15 years; by providing pro bono legal services to the community through legal clinics and speaking engagements; and by participating on the boards of charitable organizations.
Lesley obtained a B.Bus.Admin. in accounting from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 1979. She obtained a B.A. with Distinction in Psychology from Camrose Lutheran College in 1986 and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991.
Lesley spends her leisure time with friends, family and grandchildren and enjoys travel, cross-country skiing, biking and golf.

A few months ago I had a bad accident and was in a serious crisis situation.

What resonates the most with me, is the compassion shown by Mr. Madan through out. I was always treated with respect, and all of my questions were answered promptly and clearly.
