★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top notch service. Honestly felt like royalty with how attentive the staff were in making us feel comfortable. Always made sure we had everything we needed. Our room had a great view over the airport.

Kids love the view of all the planes.
At your gate in minutes.
Had to drop a couple stars due to our last stay Feb 10, 2022.
Nice little treat left in the bathroom.
Absolutely disgusting.
At least check the shower please.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel and highly recommended. Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, great room with amazing views of the airport and either the North Shore or Richmond depending on what side you are on. The gym and business center are also significantly better than pretty much any other airport hotel we stayed at. The restaurant is excellent too fro everything from Breakfast over Lunch to Dinner. The best part is the easy access to the checkin area as the hotel is literally in the Terminal. Will definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambience & great service ! I liked that the restaurant was quite spacious and the nibbles were delicious. Good selection of teas and they even offered coffee although it should not be part of high tea. I wanted my kids to experience the British tradition of high tea and it was lovely to be able to have this here in Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you've got an early morning flight, definitely book a stay at this Fairmont. It was a fun experience, especially with kids, as they got to watch airplanes right from the room. The service is top notch as always and we really enjoyed everything the hotel has to offer from the restaurant (also with a view of the planes!) to the swimming pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is great...beautiful and comfy. However we had an unpleasant experience in the lounge. We were having a drink and some dinner and a guy dressed in shorts and a tank top was wandering around filming he came right close to our table and then went back sat down and proceeded to listen to something on his phone we all could hear. We asked him to stop as we were trying to enjoy our dinner and he came over and got right in our face. It was disconcerting given that he was a big guy. The staff should never have allowed this. It is their job to deal with this sort of thing. The table next to us thanked us for saying something. Given the price of food and drink in this lounge it should be a pleasant experience. Maybe a dress code is also appropriate he was dressed for the pool. I don't 5hink guests paying top dollar for this accommodation should have to be a bouncer in your fancy lounge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check-in was smooth; although the app did not send us a notice when the room was ready. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, free-wifi tolerable speed, and room was relatively quiet given the hotel's location. The restaurant was over-priced for the quality of the food - service was slow and somewhat inattentive, however, it is a 'hotel restaurant'. Check out simple. Overall a reasonable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed there on Christmas Eve in the golf club which was great as they have an honour bar and small plates to snack on included.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even put a small gift outside of our room for our child.
The only fault we had was our room was close to the elevator and could hear it going up and down pretty much from 4 am onwards so I personally didn’t get very much sleep.
But. When we returned from our trip we stayed one more night and it was quite lovely further away from the elevator.
