★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE After communicating with head office customer service I was instructed to return to the store to have my money refunded.
It would appear that head office take customer service seriously.
That said this particular location is not well managed and based on my experience I would say that the managers are nothing more than key-holders. There really is no reason as to why I had to contact head office when this could have been quickly dealt with should the Merivale Rd location have competent on site management.
Buyer beware! They sell broken devices then only offer a store credit. Completely unfair practice. Purchased a supposedly refurbished iPod Touch on Aug 18 within a day of very light usage noticed the device was erratically reporting battery percentage jumping from 90% to 10% then to 60% all in a couple power cycles. Returned to store on Aug 20 and was able to clearly demonstrate the issue with the device.
Store management has no clue what customer service is. Will never return and advise others not to visit unless they want their hard earned money taken with nothing in return.
Highly recommend no one ever buys anything from any Factory Direct.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. The store manager went above and beyond to help me. Being Friday @6pm. Brought in my microwave that was broken. Instead of just telling me to return Monday as Head office is close. She(Slyvin), took ownership and exceeded service.. Thank you and will return for sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a tv. Asked if everything was good with the tv before paying. They said yes said all the parts were there. I brought it home open up the box it’s missing the legs to stand it up. I called the store and they told me they would check another box to see if they had some(this was all Saturday). I called Wednesday they told me they had a tv I could exchange it with. I drove an hour into the city to get there and be told it was sold online and therefor not available. We are now a week later and I got a completely different tv and paid more unwillingly because I no longer wanted to deal with this location. I’m sorry for the staff trying to keep it together but I hated my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ General a very friendly place to shop helpful and will help you with larger items to the car if needed. I have had to bring back a few items over the last few years and never been given a hard time. You do not get your money back but you get a gift card that's fine as long as you know you will reuse it. To me this is the only drawback to the store. They always have good product and brand name goods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gentleman Luis was very helpful, because of him I kept coming back as he answered all my questions and made additional suggestions and recommendations to help me find a solution to my needs. You can't really tell who works at this store, he was the only one with a clear uniform and with the intent of wanting to help. I have recommended this location to various relatives and friends due to the service he delivered and they had similar experiences with him, will continue coming back to this location. Thank you Luis, you're the best!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For what it is, Factory Direct is pretty good. Lots of good deals especially if you want a good phone and not pay $1000 or sign a contract with the usual scumbags for years. The staff at this location have always been cool and helpful imo. I've saved a ton buying phones here.
