About Extendicare Eaux Claires
Mr. S. was in very poor health when he came to live with us 8 years ago. In his mid 70’s, he had been living alone for far too long. He couldn’t walk, had dementia, wasn’t eating and was estranged from his family. Thanks to patient, dedicated care that included better nutrition, stimulating social and cognitive programs and physiotherapy, he slowly but surely improved. Two years after arriving, Mr. S. was a different person. He is now much healthier, very outgoing, involved in numerous social and recreational activities and walks with a walker. He has a great sense of humour and he is a champion Wii-bowler too. To top of his transformation, he has reconciled with his family and his daughter often comes to take him out to dinner.

Great company to work for, highly recommended.
Lots of hard work but it's worth it in the end.
Few quirks... Re benefits, but you have to make your plans in relations to that.
Excellent staff.
This facility put their residents needs first and respect their staff.The place is clean, neat and principles, policies and laws are followed.

I have met most of the staff in her unit and they are a Fantastic group and I would recommend this home to any one that is looking for a place for a parent or grandparent to live .
