Today I was helped by a female employee who had helped me once before. She was very outgoing and A+ in Customer Service that day.Today while serving me, I’ve noticed that she was wearing a rainbow pin with her preferred Pronouns on it, HER/SHE. I cancelled my order and went down the road to Lucid Canabis, Signed up to their Rewards program and away I went. Leave your Wokeness at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a customer for a while and they usually hand me fresh weed. May 11, 2022 I picked up some Marley Gold and it was dated October 14, 2021. Didn't bother to look at the store because of previous good service. I won't be purchasing anything from there again. Once bitten.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, the positives. The venue is large, and the products on offer are are very affordable, with great quality products at low prices in large abundance. The shopping experience is easy and the layout of the store makes for speedy and efficient service. Now the negatives. As a former employee, I can attest to the strong comraderie and sense of family amongst the staff. Unfortunately, the workforce is under constant pressure to maintain standards of customer service and products listing that are out of touch with the recreational cannabis community. Additionally, members of the base retail team (and supervisors) are becoming increasingly frustrated with a lagging and frankly cheap managerial team that fails to provide basic supplies, such as work shirts, cleaning supplies, and replacements for aging IT systems, terrible safes, and a poorly managed store room. Do not work at Value Buds if you want a long term position or a “fun” job. You will be taken advantage of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was not informed about what they were selling, even after showing the product on their website which was not on the board, and seemed to be a bit to dazed and confused to know what was going on. The other cashier had to step in multiple times while they had customers of their own to assist. The length of time it took the cashier to get through my order, at least 3 per the other two cashiers were put through and some extra time to spare. Maybe pay better wages and get a better quality of staff.
