Love everything about here. The setting really gets you in a Québec environment from the 1800's.the food was great and oh boy ...The Maple syrup will make you melt. 10/10 would come again

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I enjoyed the sledding, but the animals conditions are horrible! I went to Québec for French class for school, and I was so excited for sledding until I saw how the dogs were treated. The poor dogs are so thin, I could see and feel their ribs. I asked the owner how much the dogs are fed and he only said half a chicken a day, and this isn't nearly as much as they need with how much they exercise. Also, many dogs I saw were injured. There were dogs with gashes on their paws and some with huge cuts on their noses. Their fur was matted down and dirty, and their ears were torn. I was so upset when I saw this dogs, that I held them and cried. There were 3 dogs in a little chained in kennel filled with dirty hay and water bowls. I even saw golden retrievers, beagles, labs, boxers, and many other dogs pulling sleds. These kinds of dogs aren't meant to be outside like this. Huskies and other wolf-like dogs can handle the cold much better than certain dogs, but even then the huskies were treated badly as well. The dogs were also forced to stay outside and are chained to a rusty pole. They sleep in a dirty trash can and are surrounded by urine and poop. It was really disappointing to see this. Also, workers were yelling at dogs and forced breaks onto the dogs while they were pulling the sled. All workers should be fired and they clearly don't know how to treat animals. I will look into the animal rights into Québec, Canada. But so far, I know that not ANY animal should be treated like this. I'm only 14 years old, but I'm old enough to see that this isn't right and that clearly this place is abusing there animals. I hope other people agree with me on this. I went to this place with over 80 kids and me and a lot of the kids were feeling upset about this. These dogs will at least be warm and treated better in a shelter where they at least have a chance at getting a family. These dogs get abused and this place should be shut down.

A wonderful experience at this Sugar Shack. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful they also had a hayride that took the kids I threw a a nice ride. Well organized grounds are kept nice and neat and well-manicured

The food is very greasy and it's all cooked in the same oil. The soup was good but the rest was so overwhelmingly greasy that it doesn't make it worth it. The maple syrup and taffy is really good though.

I went on a tour for teachers for Prométour. It was the first time I'd ever been. The food was great, the people were friendly, the bathrooms were spotless, the entertainment was fun and involved, the owners were so friendly and informative and they even took us out back to see the dogs! (The dogs were my favorite part!) I cannot wait to go back with my students; it was truly a wonderful, educational, fun, and cultural experience. They also spoke both English and French so if you don't speak French, don't worry!

Good brunch/lunch. The food was very traditional in a classic Quebec fashion. The maple syrup is ok, pretty clear but doesn't taste as good as smaller "érablières" in the region. There is also a small farm with a small horse which was quite entertaining. There was a singer singing traditional folk songs but he was pretty bad. Would maybe go again.
