Je recommence cet endroit. Beautiful day at the sugar shack the food was hot and delicious. The super nice staff and the taffy outside very good and in quantity. I am starting this place again.

Déception; un convive n’a pas pu se présenter (raison médicale) et aucun remboursement après 48h, ok, mais impossible d’avoir une boîte/take out pour emporter! Ni collaboration pour déduire le montant déjà payé sur un achat pour emporter…au prix que vous chargez vous pourriez être accommodant !! Decent food, service and location. Disappointment; a guest could not show up (medical reason) and no refund after 48 hours, ok, but impossible to have a box / take out to take away! No collaboration to deduct the amount already paid on a take-out purchase… at the price you charge you could be accommodating!!

En allant à la cabane ont s'attend à ce que ça soit bruillant, mais il y a bruillant et il y a laisser les gens dépasser les bornes sans aucune intervention (genre 3 4 gars qui monte un autre gars coucher sur le bars en hurlant) Ils ont hurler tout le long. A 256$ pour une soirée de 3h pour avoir manger FROID et PEU je vais passer mon tour. All VERY ordinary, welcomed by people clearly in a state of inebriation, only 1 service that we had to share one of our dishes (COLD) with our table neighbors in Covid times. Going to the hut we expect it to be noisy, but there is noisy and there is letting people go beyond the limits without any intervention (like 3 4 guys who ride another guy to sleep on the bars screaming ) They screamed the whole time. At $256 for a 3-hour evening to eat COLD and LITTLE, I'm going to skip my turn.

Ils ont servi de la tire à volonté pendant pres d'une heure, j'ai jamais vue ça ailleurs. The best cabin of yesteryear. The food is excellent and the portions more than generous. They served taffy at will for nearly an hour, I've never seen that anywhere else.

Soupe 5 étoiles Cons: Pas conseillé pour une première experience tourisque pour adultes Le jambon vennait froid (questions des goûts probablement) Pas d'animation live, musique avec un pas très bon système de son Conclusion Si tu es un habitué des cabanes à sucre tu peux l'essayer, mais pas conseillé si tu ammenes une personne pour la première fois et tu veux une expérience avec un musicien et avec plus d'animation. Pour le prix et proximité de Québec, une bonne place. Pros: Price Good to go with the family (children -12 years old) Great food, indeed small portions, but you can always ask for more! People are nice. 5 star soup Cons: Not recommended for a first tourist experience for adults The ham came cold (questions of tastes probably) No live entertainment, music with a not very good sound system Conclusion If you are a sugar shack regular you can try it, but not recommended if you are bringing someone for the first time and want an experience with a musician and more entertainment. For the price and proximity to Quebec, a good place.

Nous avons apprécié la nourriture et le personnel est excellent, je ne comprends pas le commentaire de la dame qui parle en mal des employés. Allez vous sucrer le bec! Sans hésiter la meilleure place pour faire ça! ? Thank you for being there for us after months of confinement. We enjoyed the food and the staff are excellent, I don't understand the comment of the lady speaking badly of the employees. Go sweeten your mouth! Definitely the best place to do that! ?

Le service de café nous a été servi dans des verres en carton, le goût de la nourriture était très ordinaire. Le sirop d'érable n'était pas de qualité et que dire de la tire d'érable, tire très foncé, elle avait un goût de tire Sainte-Catherine. (Tire Halloween). Bref, un sortie à oublier. We were 4 people on May 23, 2022 at the sugar shack. The coffee service was served to us in cardboard glasses, the taste of the food was very ordinary. The maple syrup was not of good quality and what about the maple taffy, very dark taffy, it tasted like Sainte-Catherine taffy. (Tire Halloween). In short, an outing to forget.

La nourriture était très ordinaire, service à volonté que je doutes particulièrement étant donné que nous sommes sans cesse poussés à terminer nos assiettes. Toujours pas finis le repas principal et on me débarrasse déjà mon assiette. (J’ai encore une bouchée dans la bouche.) Alors je me demande quand est ce que j’aurais pu demander une autre portion. Le jambon servit froid exactement comme si j’étais allé le faire trancher au comptoir des charcuteries dans une épicerie. Café que nous avons dû demander à la serveuse servit dans un verre en carton. 15 h 10 la serveuse nous demandais de débarrasser la table puisqu’il « attendait un prochain service » tout ça pendant que je donnais un biberon à mon enfant de 4 mois… Pichet de sangria à 40$ pas terminer puisque nous devions quitter la table. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet endroit, c’était la première et la dernière fois. Dans mes souvenirs, une cabane à sucre, c’était accueillant, il y avait de la place pour danser, on avait le temps de boire un verre et surtout de profiter du temps avec nos amis et famille. Pas une place où on se fait dire, débarrasse, j’ai un autre service à donner à des prochains clients. Pour 270 $, j’aurais donné un foutu bon repas à la maison. 16h15 nous étions sur la route du retour…. Vous trouvez ça normal vous? Still haven't finished the main meal and they're already clearing my plate. (I still have a bite in my mouth.) So I wonder when I could have asked for another portion. The ham was served cold exactly as if I had gone to have it sliced at the deli counter in a grocery store. Coffee that we had to ask the waitress for served in a cardboard glass. 3:10 p.m. the waitress asked us to clear the table since he was “waiting for a next service” all that while I was giving a bottle to my 4-month-old child… $40 pitcher of sangria not finished since we had to leave the table. I do not recommend this place at all, it was the first and last time. In my memories, a sugar shack was welcoming, there was room to dance, we had time to have a drink and above all to enjoy time with our friends and family. Not a place where you are told, get rid of, I have another service to give to future customers. For $270, I would have given a bloody good meal at home. 4:15 p.m. we were on the way back….
