★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wrote my IELTS test at etc West test centre recently. I would like to mention that all staffs including the manager and the exam coordinator are well- professionals , empathetic , extreme pleasant and nice hospitality show towards candidates. I wrote the test in other institutions in Edmonton previously. But , etc west test centre is the best IELTS test centre in Edmonton I should say. I haven’t seen in other institutions that the above mentioned qualities they have. ETC West test centre seems a stress free ,very polite staffs and at the same time conduct a test well-perfect manner. The etc West test centre staffs always make candidate nervous free. For ex: while waiting time for speaking section, one of the staffs will switch it on a screen the “Mr.Bean’s show “with no sound. And also offer Tim’s Hortan’s treats. This is really an excellent thought. It is my pleasure to write all about their positive attitude about candidates . I highly recommend this centre for the IELTS candidates who would like to appear in future . If you wish to write a test, go ahead to register with this etc west Edmonton test centre . You can face the test with confidence and stress free with pleasant staffs.I hope once you wrote the test at etc west , you will realize the difference for sure?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drove all the way from Calgary as I couldn't find any testing centre in Calgary that had satisfactory Covid-19 protocols in place. This centre made me feel comfortable from the get go with clear and complete information about how the exams will be conducted.
During the test day, there was strict adherence to social distancing, hand sanitizing, and other necessary Covid-19 protocols. The test went smoothly. I did computer based general which was held in the morning. Afterwards, I came back in the afternoon for the speaking part with an examiner done in person. Once again, Covid-19 precautions were in place as they should be.
I also applaud this centre for being very prompt in responding to any emails I sent them. Overall, I recommend it fully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very bad experience during my Ielts test. They won’t allow me to use the bathroom even when I asked them after my module was completed and the invigilator said “you can’t go, I won’t be escorting you to the toilet as there are many people and I need to look at them”. It was nowhere in the rules that you are not allowed to use the bathroom except the last 10 minutes of each module. I have a kidney stone problem and not using bathroom gave me a very bad pain and it made me exhausted until I could use the bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This two stars for the centre workers. But I believe that this is not good place for you to take ietls. I have took ielts in this centre for three times. First time my speaking score was 6.5( I didn’t practice at all ) second time is 5.5( I didn’t practice at all) I confused these results very much. So I prepared the speaking interview for a month , this time I practiced a lot ,but the score is just 6. As same as writing, I practiced my writing with the Simon for a month ,but I only get a band 6
I am pretty sure they try to give as your writing and speaking a low score so you have to take this test again and again.
So I would advice you to go somewhere to take your ielts test if you want to enrol a school with decent score.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m very disappointed with test results today because of your “test center”. at the time of test started I heard huge noises from outside and I couldn’t able to focus on the test and they Alloted my seat was near to the window.
My test was on 27 Feb and I came from long distance to write the test, but finally no use of writing that test .
I have to take the test again, and more important thing is speaking test madam she was very aggressive and she was very fast in asking questions but never care about the test taker answers.
Thank you very much for loosing my money and time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Management shown superb services. I arrived too early than my appointed time of exam which is not advisable(sorry) but they gave me a sit inside the building so i can feel comfortable. They are very strict in implementing rules and regulations which i find great. They also explained everyrthing thoroughly to guide each test takers. Eventhough, we all wear masks you can see through their eyes a pleasant and welcoming smiles which helped me be at ease prior to taking the exam. Salute?
