★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love visiting encore bookstore, it’s a super cute little local spot that I can’t ever walk by without going in! I have found some real treasures there over the years, that I’m sure I wouldn’t have found anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and helpful, a real Montreal gem!

I thought "now is time to support a local shop more than ever." I reached out and they not only had the book -at a great price- but a million others, vinyls, and sweet t shirts.
Please keep places like this alive. Sadly, they are a vestige of a bygone era but an important community space all the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint and friendly neighbourhood book shop. Plenty of secondhand books in plenty of genres. Lots of used DVDs for sale, too. I go for the selection of vinyl. You will find a gem on occasion if you're willing to dig. The second hand stuff is not really kept in order and it's a bit overwhelming but if you have time on a rainy Sunday, it's worth a look. They also have a couple racks of new vinyl, which runs eclectic if not a tad pricey.
