★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are getting ready to move into a property and they have provided the quickest and kindest service I have gotten while looking rentals. In the past I have waited a week+ for responses. Laura has been extremely responsive and efficient through this whole process making our moving less stressful! She and Phil are kind and welcoming and she really advocated for our family and pets, which can make it difficult to find a home for rent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate to have to post a review like this but unprofessionalism has motivated me to.
Over the phone it was described how years of experience would ensure the process of bringing my basement suite up to code would be seamless, easy to navigate, and pain free.
This has not been my experience.
In reality, I encountered:
- Months of delays in the overall project compared to the expectations set from the beginning
- Lack of clarity and proactive follow ups. I had to reach out multiple times for information and updates.
- People coming to my home unexpectedly to complete inspections (thankfully someone was home to facilitate or would have caused further delays)
- Work that EPA contracted being done incorrectly causing further delays and having to rectify this myself
Continued unprofessionalism by not only taking up to nearly 3 weeks to respond to email communication but also threatening to put a lien on my property despite not having just cause to do so. Followed by blocking us on her social media page and email.
In retrospect, I would have been better off just dealing with everything myself.
I hope the team uses this feedback to improve their overall customer experience.

They are always quick to reply with any issues we may face, and like me they value long term relationships with their clients. Laura is someone who understand the perils of trying to rent with pets & as such, she advocated for our pets on our behalf. I cannot thank her & her staff for all the hard work they do. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Efficient Property Assistants for over ten years to help me to manage my properties. Prior to that, I relied on a number of other people/companies to perform similar work. From my experience, EPA has been the best. They have always been reliable, reasonable and responsive. Not only have they have given me advice on managing my relationship with my tenants but they have also overseen the maintenance of my properties. Some of the maintenance was small and some of it was larger in scope including the legalization of my secondary suite. Although the legalization took longer than I expected it was reasonable considering that it was done during COVID and a lot of the delays had to do with the City having to deal with a backlog of inspections. But in the end, I was happy with the suite legalization that EPA did for me.
