if you're looking for a quick and easy meal, don't eat here. It's not worth it. my "miso" tastes like it might have been in the same room as some miso at one point, but thats about it. practically salt water. the edamame was hard and furry, I chewed for a solid 15 minutes and eventually gave up and spat it out. The California roll had a sliver of avocado in it and a giant hunk of cucumber. the soggy tempura came with plum sauce in a small package, I didn't use it. my husband's "ramen" was unflavoured and had the worst parts of the vegetables in it as well, very poor food, though I don't think it's the staffs fault, they're cooking these garbage ingredients the best they can, corporate needs to stop penny pinching and buy them proper ingredients.

I like their teriyaki chicken with rice or even the yakisoba noodles. The customer service is great too!

Edo used to be universally good. Not this location, precooked and over cooked. They reheat it on the grill and slab it in the bowl. Asked for double meat and was barely more than the bloke in front of me with a single order. Sad sad sad.

Staff are really nice. Everything is cooked to perfection. Miso soup could use some work though

Second day going there with my son..and he like the beef & shrimp yakisoba.. and I go for the beef and rice.. both with no mushroom and cabbage and only broccoli....first time they gave me rice instead of noodles...this second time they gave me mushrooms & cabbages...my son dosent like to eat them... plus they only give half the portion size now...few years ago I order the same thing and I get my belly full and happy on the sumo size with extra beef..now I have to order 2 of them just to fill my belly...for the price your paying almost 50$ for 2 normal size ..for that amout of money I get a better deal at McDonald's, wendy's, burger king,A&W , bin4,most sushi place in town, even pho restaurants as well....I only tip if the service is good and portion size is right everytime.

This place was good, but now it's not. Food is bland and they just mass cook everything and then just warm up again. Watched them even fill my fountain drink less than half and then put in ice until it was full. Like seriously? When they were serving my food I lost a lot of my portion because cook couldn't aim and put it on my plate, and no they just let it fall off and said here you go!

My dad works at corporate in Calgary and he would be disappointed if I told him my experience. I can’t bring myself to tell him as he takes pride in the company and I don’t want to ruin his day. Used to be good and would be cooked to order, and would often go multiple days a week after work for quick protein. Now everything is precooked and often overcooked as they bulk cook and reheat the meat. I’ve gone in the morning right at open and saw the mixing of cooked and uncooked meat coming from the same bin, I assume the cooked meat from the night before. I’ve come a lot less to the Tillicum location, despite living within walking distance, and usually make the drive to the Langford location if I want Edo. The prices have also been jacked up recently and only seemingly to be at this location - I paid a lot less at a different location for the same order a few days ago. Portion of a regular bowl seems to be smaller as well and the double meat does not seem to reflect the original roughly 8oz of meat they used to serve. Staff is friendly though

It tastes good, always has. But when you advertise a sumo-size meal and charge for it, I’d expect it. Looking at the nutritional facts with a food scale, the chicken I had was actually LESS than the amount of a normal order, with sumo sizing. I also got all veg, no rice and the bowl wasn’t even 3/4 full. If you’re buying the base bowl it’s fine, don’t waste time paying for nothing if you level up. Quite discouraging, and it’s sad to see that the owners aren’t stepping up in the review section to remedy the problem, especially when you can see them reply to 5 star reviews.
