EDA clients benefit from Jason’s interdisciplinary skillset and extensive experience – spanning planning, architecture, and landscape architecture. His primary interest, and main focus, is urban design. Jason thrives on the challenge of arriving at successfully integrated outcomes in this collaborative discipline, which allows him to tap into his many abilities. As a former graphic/web designer, Jason also brings strong visual communication abilities and technical software skills to his role.
Jason’s public sector experience gives him a solid background in policy research, design review, and the application of policies and guidelines on a wide range of public and private design projects. This is balanced by private sector design and project management experience in architecture and landscape architecture. His work with EDA has included trail masterplans, large-scale rezoning for transit-oriented developments, land subdivisions, and extends down to the small-scale design of houses and mixed use residential / commercial buildings. Jason’s diverse background allows him to align the finer details with big picture concepts of design projects.
