Eclipse Restoration did an amazing job on my insurance claim in my house! I was beyond impressed with their work ethic and how clean and detailed they were throughout the whole process. The people that work there are very knowledgeable and have expertise in each area of the trade world. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This was the company that was recommended to us through our insurance company in regards to a basement claim. At first they seemed to be a really good company, Matt was our point of contact. They came in and did the demo process, we had the other additional work done that we needed, then Eclipse came back in and started to put the dry wall up again. I was at work during this time up north for a stretch of days, but they found some other water coming in so work was halted so we could address this new issue. During this time I noticed the dry wall they had put back up on the wall had a good quarter inch gap between it. In past years I spent a considerable amount of time hanging drywall, so I called Matt. He tried telling me that its normal and they have new mud compounds that are designed to fill larger gaps which stuck me odd. I told him I would rather have someone come in a close up the gaps in the drywall because i felt the dry wall taped joints are going to bubble through. He then blew me off saying that I need to trust him and their work is warrantied. All the contractors came in and did their jobs in quick enough succession, but the sub contracted companies such as the carpet company dragged the roll of carpet around our corners in our house damaging several walls. I will say on a positive note, Eclipse did give us $150.00 for some paint to fix the problem, however we had to do the work ourselves. When the job was completely done I inspected it and for the most part is satisfactory. However the joints where there was a quarter inch gap between the dry wall with no surprise is bubbling in the drywall tape. I sent Matt an email saying that if he had listened to me in the first place this wouldn't have been an issue. He then deflected all blame to his mudder/taper Dion saying he should have caught it. I then repeated that if he had listened to my concern in the beginning it would have been avoided all together. Sure, should the taper have known the gap was too large? Absolutely! However Matt only knows how to deflect blame and not own up to his own faults. All he said to me is that there is warranty for their work, however I'm not interested in them ripping apart our basement again, as they would need to replace drywall and paint again to do it properly, however I have a strong feeling they would just pop the tape bubble and float out the area with mud then paint over it which would not be a proper fix for something that should never have happened. The construction industry is full of hack job contractors and people that just don't care about someone else home, when it comes to an insurance company their contracts are handed out based on being the lowest bidder, this is a true case of the lowest bidder wins. So if your insurance company recommends this company, insist on finding your own. Luckily for us the walls that are affected is the walls that our home theater sectional is on currently and the layout will never change.

Had an excellent experience working with the crew at Eclipse. We required an entire basement rebuild after a devastating flood in August. The entire team worked tirelessly to get our home back. We were kept informed every step of the way, and all questions were answered.
