I was treated more like a long time good friend, than just another case. He inspires a natural comfort level in all aspects of the procedure that lets you know you have made the best choice to solve this age-old problem.. (pun intended). Pre and post op care is the best I have ever encountered. Even a small set-back after 14 hours, due to a manufacturer failed catheter, his response turned what we thought was a serious event, into a tempest in a tea pot. Professionalism at its best. The odd time I will sleep through the night, which is great. I am a avid cyclist with a 1 hour ride to work. I was starting to have trouble making it there without a strong urge to go. Now it's no problem. The first couple of weeks were rough but well worth it in the end.

I'd been taking both Dutasteride and Tamsulosin daily for BPH nevertheless my symptoms were going from bad to worse. I discussed my options with Dr. Matsumoto and chose the REZUM procedure at Dynamiq Urology. It did not require a hospital stay and was minimally invasive. Recovery was a matter of weeks. Today I'm off Tamsulosin and only take Dutasteride three times a week. My PSA levels haven't been this low in years. All the symptoms usually associated with BPH are gone. I've personally recommended REZUM to many family and friends already.

He firmly confirmed its positive outcome and at my request developed an action plan leading to the procedure complete with a pre and post operative medication. The surgery was so well organized with all team members interacting well and reassuring that made me feel very comfortable. I did not feel any pain during or after surgery. Before the end of the day, Dr. Matsumoto contacted me to ensure I was comfortable and all was well. My recovery was uneventful and now, one year after surgery all participating functions are back to before BPH and that is much better than I expected. My PSA is down, I don't get up to use the washroom at all at night, follow up tests show that I empty the bladder very well and more. Dr. Matsumoto is well respected by his peers and patients, he is compassionate and thorough as well as a very experienced urologist and I highly recommend Dynamiq Urology to anyone with BPH problems.

As a matter of fact the best experience ever when talking about a surgeries. Everything went as he explained the first time we met. Dr. Matsumoto is very thorough during the entire process and leaves no questions unanswered. The surgery went very well. I was expecting a tough recovery but to my surprise, there was no pain hence no need for pain medication. Although the surgery was performed during Covid restrictions, Dr. Matsumoto stayed in touch with me every day over the phone to assess the recovery. The first signs of change came roughly 3-4 weeks after the procedure. I could say it was kind of life changing. I feel now like in my thirties again. Still have to take 1-2 breaks at night but at least I I empty fast. Very happy with Dr. Matsumoto and the results of this procedure.
