If they found anything wrong or if I asked them to check on something, they always explain things to me. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I faithfully only took my car, and my grown kid's car to Duran's for 7 years. All oil changes and services. Then we noticed a winter tire was not installed correctly, and took it somewhere else to get it fixed. - Long story but we found both our cars had serious problems from lack of maintenance and safety issue, because Duran's messed up big time and did not do the work we paid for, or did not recommend work that was seriously needed. My oil filter was crumbling and so old it caused damage to my car and serious leaking. I saw it, the mechanic showed me the filter had not been changed in "many oil changes." Even though I got an oil change every 3 months at Duran's. We needed multiple valves changed that were rusted in both cars, my front suspension was completely dangerous and leaking oil, costing $1600+ to fix. My car and my kid's car were unsafe, because of Duran's pretending to change parts and do repairs, but not actually doing it. I feel so cheated and now I have big bills and financial stress. Please don't take your car here, there are other honest mechanics in Edmonton. They neglected my latest car for 5+ years despite me taking it to them 4+ times/year for regular service and check-ups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone to Duran's for the last seven years. They have always treated me well and I have never been overcharged. They handled my import car well and have kept it running without any issues. They are also a great place to get tires without paying a ton of money. Duran's auto is a great, friendly, family run business .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve taken my car to Durans auto for a few years now and I went to go change over my summer tires to winter. I did not have the tire lock and they said they had one they could use. I explained Lexus wanted $179 to do my tires and it would be better to do my tires them with them, if they could. Instead of being honest that it would be too much work for them they went ahead and took 1.5 to do the work, broke 4 bolts, that I had to pay for and presented a bill of all most $300!
Why would I spend $300 dollars when I could have taken it to Lexus for $179??
They have gone downhill and are not honest with their customers. I will never be taking my car for service here again. I strongly suggest people take their vehicles else where.

Owned by a wonderful and adoring couple who have great knowledge, respect and charm. They have integrity and will provide you with the service they know is best for you, and your car. They will never try to up sell you on things like dealerships do, which are high priced and not needed at those times. Definitely great with their customer service and with their communication - their explanation are educational, they will listen to your concerns and will provide you with the best solutions. I highly recommend them as well and that you won't be disappointed. You'll be happy to find this gem in a haystack. I look forward to my next visit and I will be a long term customer!
