She should be stripped of her medical license she is disrespectful rude and careless about you or your symptoms . She is one of the reasons for the health care system being so corrupt. "Specialist" they call her, hahahaha.

The receptionist is terrible. Dr. Ang needs to replace her. That receptionist refuses to book me an appointment because I wasn't pregnant anymore, she insisted I go see my family doctor, even though I haven't seen Dr.Ang for my postpartum check yet. I will be finding myself a different Gyne/OB.

Dr Ang is amazing, she’s so sweet. She helped deliver my baby, I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. If not that I had moved, I will love to go back to her when having my other babies . Mary is also very caring as well and acts professionally at every visit

Dr.Miriam Ang is one of the most professional, caring and patient doctors. During my pregnancy she and her amazing assistant (Mary) always tried to calm me down when I got nervous and stressed. Dr.Miriam Ang performed my c-section very well and I feel very lucky to have found her❀❀❀

I've seen Doctor Ang for both of my pregnancies. She's polite, kind, gentle during internal exams, and answers all your questions. I think some of the negative comments are posted by trolls. The reason I'm taking away one star is because of the receptionist Mary. Although she's good with all admin tasks and is polite, getting an appointment with the doctor post partum was difficult. She made me reschedule my appointment and then cancelled it, saying the doctor wasn't free. In general, I advice all ladies to go visit a pelvic floor physiotherapist for a proper post partum wellness exam.

The receptionist is horrible. Lost our paperwork and didn’t bother to contact us. No one ever responds to voicemail or answers phone. When we finally were able to contact the receptionist, she said that we didn’t send it, when in fact it was sent 2 months prior. We were waiting for them to call us for 2 months and they had nothing to say about it. At this point we don’t even want to see Dr Ang because the receptionist is so bad. For a couple that is expecting their first child, this office has no sympathy, shows no empathy, and just keeps you in the dark the whole time. Better off finding another OB

It's unfortunate that I have to give 1 star & I have NEVER even met Dr. Miriam Ang. This rating is solely based on my experience with the practice during this first pregnancy. I was referred to Dr. Miriam Ang by the Fertility Clinic I attended. The Fertility Clinic had faxed over all my paper work after a successful egg in OCTOBER 2021 and advised me to call Dr. Ang's office to set up an appointment. During the call, the receptionist advised me that Dr. Ang could not see me until JANUARY 2022 as there are no appointments available and to call back closer to the new year. The weekday before Christmas, I called the OBs office and the receptionist advised to call back during the first week of January as their offices were closed for the day, and that they were now closed for the holiday. PLEASE NOTE: I called at around 4:20 PM - they close at 5. I called back during the first week of January, it was a Wednesday - the receptionist advised me that I should call back the next day, Thursday. I did. Thursday, Friday, Monday - I called. Voicemail every time. A week later the receptionist called me back to get all my information and then promised to call me back with an appointment. I waited days for her to call me back -- she advised me that she had not received any of my paperwork and that I had to get my Fertility Clinic to send everything over. I called my Fertility Clinic and they told me they faxed all of my files over in OCTOBER 2021. I even went out of my way to call my Family Doctor to send another copy of my files over so that everything was in order. I waited a few days to a week to FINALLY get my Week 18-22 ultrasound appointment. They were able to fit me in during WEEK 22, DAY 4 -- you could say that was pushing it. 2 days before my appointment, the receptionist calls me to REBOOK ME a week later -- I would have been in Week 23, too late for this type of ultrasound. I explained to her that it wasn't okay, and that I cannot reschedule ... she then told me: "It's okay! You already did your Week 18-22 ultrasound!" No I didn’t! I was so upset because I've been waiting MONTHS for this appointment. She basically said she could do nothing about. I, myself, had to SUGGEST to her to send a requisition for my Week 18-22 ultrasound to an Ultrasound Clinic that I've been to before to get this done. This ultrasound clinic was able to see me THAT DAY. I am furious at the communication I've been having with the receptionist. I had to speak with my Family Doctor about this and she said this is not okay. I also noted that I HAVE NOT met Dr. Ang yet and my Family Doctor says to me ... "Youre 24 weeks pregnant, and you have not been seen by your OB?!" If my Family Doctor is shocked, then I am bewildered. As I want to advocate for my own health, and the health of my baby I had to request from my Family Doctor to refer me to a new OB and that is the path I am on now. For anyone looking to see Dr. Ang, there is a chance you might not see her for a very long time, or at all. I feel the that receptionist is not in tune with the type of job she has to do, especially in the type of practice she works in. Women carrying babies should be actively seen by their doctor's and I don't believe that simple idea is respected by this practice. I wish I could have met Dr. Ang.

One star is not for obgyn but for the receptionist. It is very unfortunate that they doesn’t seem to care about postpartum mother. Once the baby is delivered, they don’t care anymore. So I went for my pistoartum check-up and she booked me for certain time slot. I sat there for 3 hours leaving my newborn at home and when I inquired her she said my appointment wat at different time which was not the case as I never missed my appointments before during pregnancy. She made me wait and took me to see the obgyn in the end when everyone was done. Then Obgyn asked if I would like to book my pap test from her and not from family doctor and I agreed. I called the receptionist, firstly they never pick up the phone and I left the voice call. She called me back. Secondly, she was not ready to book me for the test even if the obgyn was saying so. After making her understand, she booked my appoinment. After few weeks she called me up and said obgyn will call you and then gave me new appointment. I went there at the given date and time and novody was at the office. It was all empty. It is for frustrating that she is so rude and doesn’t care about other’s time. New mother leaving their newborn at home is a heck of a deal. Such a shame that there is nothing for postpartum moms. ?
