Just waited on the phone for 12 min only to be disconnected because its outside of phone hours, which is there is hardly any. Never can see a doctor and ive been there for at least 5 years. Anything i try to do i get told we dont do that here. and if you want to make an appointment its almost impossible for same day and its always 2 weeks later then you want. the staff is great, the way its run and the doctor is just a bad story. hate this place

Maybe not just about him but his staff too. Can't answer a phone calls, never returns phones calls, always pawning work off to interns (I forgot what Dr. Steven Zizzo looks like), seems to be a pill pusher, had to get a nurse in for in-laws and either he forgot or don't care. This office is the reason I go to walk in clinics now. 1 star cuz I had to choose something to post but definitely not worth it

This is the MOST MONEY RUN DOCTOR We went to our first appointment, I had a doctor appointment scheduled for a Monday for my daughter and myself at 11 and 230 that day. We had a emergency situation happen as my son had had sugery on the Friday in Mississauga and I had to go back on the Sunday to Mississauga and my daughter had to keep my business open so she could not attend her appointment either. I called before the offices were open and left a message explaining why we could not attend and asked for a rebook. No call... a few weeks and I call and ask to book appointments.. I called 3 days in a row and finally received a phone call back stating we were being dropped and he would no longer see us for missing a canceled appointment. Something seriously wrong with this man... money hungry pathetic no good doctor is what.

I have sent 10 faxes through my pharmacy thus far and nothing. Avoid at all costs this guy doesn't give a lick about you. Terrible and criminal!!!

The staffs are rude. I've been their paitent for like a month. After trying for two weeks to get refill for my med, i ended up going to walking clinic for refill. I don't recommend them for anyone. Please let me know if anyone here has the same experinece

I do have an ongoing condition that requires monthly injections, so I canโ€™t say if the phone answering thing is true. I always make my next appointment while walking out of the last one. The doctors work as part of a family health team. You can access a therapist, dietician, psychiatrist and others in the same office. Thatโ€™s really helpful if you have ongoing or mental health issues. The building is extremely convenient, and the office is clean, well stocked and well kept. Thereโ€™s a play area for little ones that is a very nice touch. Almost no doctors have those anymore. The receptionists are very nice and friendly. I can confirm that the doctor takes on a more supervisory role. Iโ€™m definitely more interested in patient centred care than doctor centred care. For emergencies I go to the ER, for specific issues I see a specialist. I go to my GP so there is a physical record of all my symptoms and specialists...like a central database. It seems like a lot of people these days are looking for McMedical care....would you really want your doctor treating you at a drive thru on a timer that goes off every 5 minutes? I wouldnโ€™t.

I have had issues now on several occasions about paying for paperwork that I needed signed. Today I had a form filled out, then a few hours later I get a call saying I need to pay for it. No mention of needing to pay during or directly after my appointment. In the past, I sent some paperwork over to the office for the doctor to fill out and he invoiced me $500 for a 4 page document. My specialist filled out the paperwork for free. If you would like to actually see the doctor personally when you go, this is not your guy. I can count the number of times I've actually got to meet with Zizzo on two hands. You will meet with the number of others that work for him, and if you are lucky, he will poke his head in the room for a few seconds. Good luck getting an appointment as well. I had a big and painful lump in my neck and I was told by reception that it was not an emergency, and that I would have to wait a few months to get an appointment. I know its hard to find a doctor these days, but if you have a serious medical condition, you may want to keep looking.

First, my condolences for the loss to family of my doctor, Angelo Zizzo. I truly liked the man as my doctor, and had no issues or problems, in fact he was very helpful for me in many ways. The problem, and I couldn't bring myself to talk to Dr. Ang about it, is his staff, and the way his practise was operated. In my opinion, he was always overbooked for appointments, and as I've read in other comments, money driven in many ways. These days people have to get forms signed by their doctor, and that's not the patient's fault. After making an appointment, doctors get paid through OHIP for that appointment. Why charge hundreds of dollars to check a few checkmarks on a form and sign it for your patient? If my pharmacy had to fax the doctors office for a prescription renewal (that I'm on for life), there would be a $10 charge from the Dr.s office. The offices are shared with two other son doctors which I have never met, but I have decided since Dr. Angelo's passing to get a new family doctor as I am not willing to be passed on to one of the sons and keep experiencing the same problems. The patients complaining about the phone problems are also correct. The Doctors office will never answer the phone, and if you leave a message, they will only make one attempt to call you back. Just not an easy way to seek medical help from your own doctor. Thankfully I'm moving on.
