I had a better review of Dr Quinn until he did my surgery 2 days ago. My recovery is full of complications. Last night when the nerve block filly wore off, I was in utter agony, no pain meds would touch it. He tried to tell me what I was feeling is normal. But I'm not so sure. I don't know when I'm going home at all. Update, June 2017. Dr Quinn has ruined my life. He has caused a permanent disability thanks to stupidity. In addition to disability, he also ignored 2 accidents I had during recovery that ultimately led to an additional surgery. During this surgery, it was discovered that a major tendon was encased in scar tissue and was beyond repair. Quinn was adamant that I would not have any scar tissue. A complaint was filed with the college of physicians and surgeons of Ontario, and I'm just waiting for the results of the investigation. I am now seeking help at a pain management clinic due to the chronic pain I suffer from. It was also discovered during the 2nd surgery that one of 3 procedures from the first surgery was not performed. If it had been, I would not have needed a 2nd surgery. The pictures here show what I'm left with after 2 surgeries. They are a painful reminder of what hell I've been through. And the surgeon saying he won't operate for a year is foolish, not to mention the fact that the injury that started this downward spiral was an unstable fracture that was not treated properly to begin with. Stay away from this "doctor", he's a butcher who should not have a medical degree or license to practice medicine.

Dr A. Quinn is a very understanding surgeon. He is extremely busy because there are so few orthopedic surgeons that deal with feet. I had severe claw foot with one foot being extremely troublesome. He sat with me to explain what could be done. He is extremely cautious and insists you contact his office when there are any questions, or if something occurs. The clinic he works out of is also a benefit for his clients, as there are several specialists located there and if there is a need for another s opinion they are right there to tend to it. It saves on time with referrals and booking appointments elsewhere. There only thing bad I can say... is if there are a lot of clients before you there can be a very long wait. Other than that once you are seen it is all done right there. UPDATE... May 2018... I have since had several years of contact with Dr. Quinn, and he has become somewhat desensitized from all he deals with. There are moments when I felt he was not paying attention to physical changes I could clearly see. I am the one that lives in this body and when I see changes occurring that may be something serious, I need a professional to take a moment and listen to what I have to say and answer questions I may have. Many times I felt like he was just concentrating on another patient as he seemed to be distracted and gave a quick review of what I have been told in prior visits. He was not allowing any other possibilities to be spoken of, even when there are visible signs of something else occurring!! I am discouraged by his bedside manner and the way I feel he dismissed my concerns. I have a great home care team and they are actually taking care of my concerns, but Dr. Quinn is the one in charge of my case and the nurses can only work within certain parameters. If what we believe is happening Dr. Quinn should have allowed for a more thorough exam. Time will tell.

Dr. Quinn completed an MTP fusion on my left foot this past March. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Quinn and his work. He took the time to explain the surgery, the risks and potential outcomes thoroughly and practically. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I couldn’t be happier!!

I had a great experience with him. My 1st consult, he sat with me and gave me all options & all possible outcomes. Gave opportunity to ask all questions I had. Day of the surgery I was late going in, not his fault, hospital wasn't great! After surgery he was great about following up and making sure I was ok. The clinic where stitches were removed not great either, incision got infected. Told I could shower normal but leave bandage on till it fell off on own. For the 1st 5 days you should keep foot covered still when showering. I let Dr Quinn know later and he told me I should have called him let him know. Seemed very concerned that it happened and that I had lots of swelling. Karen his receptionist is amazing! I can't say enough good things about her. I definitely would go back to him IF I have too. Hopefully I don't.
