Gupta Rajiv Dr

Amazing doctor and amazing person. Always a smile on the face and as soon as he finished my surgery he contacted my brother to tell him the surgery is completed without any problems and not to worry. Awesome person!!

Dr. Gupta is AMAZING he did a wonderful job on my bladder I no longer run to the bathroom or worried about wetting myself when I am going out any more it's been almost a year and I'm great. Now other people will ask don't you pee your self at your age I just say no I had a GREAT Doctor. And I give them his name so they could have him be referred by their doctor. Thank you Doctor you have changed my life for the BEST.

My Father today had the worse experience with Dr. Gupta and would not recommend him to anyone. He has been seeing Dr. Gupta for a few months and today went for a follow-up appointment and advised Dr. Gupta he had to travel back home for his business. Dr. Gupta got angry with my father and had advised him it was irresponsible and illegal of him to travel and not safe for my father or the people at the clinic. Like you Dr. Gupta and many others my Father has to make a living and would not be traveling if he didn't have to as he has put this business on hold already for months. We understand it's a risk but in no way would he have have harmed your staff as when he returns he would follow his 14 day quarantine and be tested before he left his home. How do you have the right to make anyone feel like a criminal and tend to their business. I understand we're in a Pandemic but also have some empathy for those that have no options and must travel or loose their livelihood. Once my Father returns he will find a new Urologist.

I just recently had my surgery with Dr. Gupta. He has done a wonderful job and I feel great! I would like to thank Dr. Gupta and his entire team. He is very experienced and would recommend to everyone.

Dr. Gupta has been very professional and at the same time always very warm and friendly during my appointments over the past decade. He and his staff take interest in your personal well being. What a breath of fresh air it has been, I am sorry that I will not see them any more as we make a move to Alberta.

Won’t recommend this doctor. He doesn’t give proper appointment time and seems in rush all the time. I’ve gone to him 3 times for my kids health issues, he doesn’t even examine the patient properly, doesn’t pay attention to what parents’ concerns are. Makes his own decision and sends report to your family physician right away.

Trust me, DO NOT go to this doctor. I would give less than a one star if I could! I rarely ever leave bad reviews and always like to give the benefit of the doubt and leave good reviews, however, my experience with him was so atrocious that I cannot simply turn a blind eye. I was referred to Dr. Rajiv Gupta and waited a few months for my appointment, I was really looking forward to meeting with him since I had been suffering with some problems and was hoping he would help deal with it and perhaps work out a solution. However, wrong I was. First of all, he rushed the appointment very quickly, I tried on multiple occasions to say even a few words but he would continuously cut me off and he would belittle my problem by saying "you're completely fine, you have no problems." When clearly I do otherwise I wouldn't have taken the time to book an appointment and wait months just to meet with him. He was also asking me completely unrelated questions such as "What are you looking to study in university." And he would keep asking me follow up questions related to this. What does this have to do with my appointment and why is he so concerned about something like this? I'm here to get my problems diagnosed and fixed not talk about my plans for university. This wasn't simply small talk too, it felt very strange and odd. That's just the icing on the cake, he then told me to urinate into a container in a private room and told me to tell him when I was done. I started urinating and he walked into the room without my permission! He didn't even apologize afterwards. Keep in mind that during my appointment, I was a minor, I am a male. He was giving me very strange and odd feelings, borderline creepy. It honestly astonishes me how a man like Dr. Rajiv Gupta can get a medical license and is in a position to help people when he clearly has absolutely no regard for his patients since he refuses to even listen to them or let them speak, walks in on them while they are urinating having full disregard for basic manners and then continues to ask completely unrelated questions and then belittles your problems by not addressing them appropriately and cutting you off. If you are considering booking an appointment with him, just don't. If you are already booked with him, cancel your appointment. My time was completely wasted here and I felt worse after the appointment than I had before. He did absolutely NOTHING to treat or fix my problems, infact, he just added to them. Take the time to book with a different doctor.

We met with Dr. Gupta regarding an issue my son was experiencing. In the first meeting I mentioned that we had already seen a specialist and that we were given a steroid cream which helped while using it, but as soon as we were done with the cream, the issue returned. Dr. Gupta acknowledged that my son had phimosis and that it was not serious enough for surgery. I explained that we absolutely did not want surgery, however, we were concerned because he would oftentimes complain about pain. So....Dr. Gupta prescribed a stronger steroid cream (!) and booked us in for a follow-up after 8 weeks. Obviously the steroid cream helped (temporarily) and when we saw Dr. Gupta he was happy that he had cured the issue. One month following that appointment the issue had gotten worse, as we knew it would, since we had experienced this 3 times over the past 2 years. I contacted the office and apparently we had been discharged. So, Dr. Gupta provided us with exactly the same bandaid solution as the previous specialist had. We are in the exact same position as we were before seeing the Doctor. I would rate his effectiveness with responding to medical needs as a 1 and his overall ability to comfort a concerned parent as a 4.
