Dr. Baum and the staff at Etobicoke General did an exceptional job during my procedure. He made me feel comfortable from the consultation to the actual procedure. I was nervous during the time of surgery, but all the nurses and Dr. Baum made me feel comfortable. No complaints, no scaring, no bleeding. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone! I had my procedure done Sept 2018, and to this day, I am pleasantly pleased with everything.

Years back, Dr Baum performed two otoplasties on me and two blepharoplasties on my mother and the results looked like this man had never performed plastic surgery in his life. The results were horrible. He left my mother with uneven eyelids, severe scarring and nerve damage. It was something out of a horror movie. Thank goodness she was able to find an eye specialist, Dr Ford, here in canada to fix his mistakes as best as possible. It scares me that he even wanted a third go at her. Any revision requires a specialist yet he was willing to keep performing surgery on her like it was nothing. With me, he told me that otoplasty was a straight forward surgery and he pinned my ears to my head. Otoplasty is a surgery with an incredibly high success rate. In my opinion, if you cant properly pin an ear back, you have no business practicing as a plastic surgeon. I went to numerous other surgeons and was told to go back to Baum so I reluctantly did. After the second surgery, he left my right ear with horrible scarring and a hole behind it and the left was still overcorrected with a stitch protruding out of the antihelix. I am now in the process of traveling to an ear reconstruction specialist with years of otoplasty revision experience to fix his mistakes which will now cost a good chunk of money. I personally feel Baum is a terrible plastic surgeon with limited skill. I feel he is only qualified to remove moles at best. I also read a previous review where Dr Baum butchered a woman's breasts so i know we arent the only unfortunate ones who choose him as our doctor. Always do your homework. You only get one appearance and while he still practices, I would look somewhere else. In my opinion, there are much better surgeons not that far away. You only get one appearance, don't roll the dice with this man. Not a bad person, but not good at his job.

An outstanding doctor, a first-rate human being and a very caring individual! Dr. Baum has more than honored his oath to the medical profession! We truly need more good doctors like Dr. Baum in this world!
