★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found the building clean and spacious and the staff competent and friendly. My mother was well cared for but was moved to another facility which catered to people of her ethic background. The new facility was also located close to her friends; otherwise I would have gladly had her remain in Downsview LTC

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father was in this home for a year. This place has a tendency to use Anti-psychotic medications inappropriately. They sedated my father too much for too long, which caused several falls. This place is more like a psychiatrist hospital, than a home. Also, one of their PSWs acted very harshly toward my father and took him to washroom and hit him..... The only good thing they can do, is to feed residents.
