★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrendously disappointing that family members received vaccine when Frontline workers for CMHA are quietly waiting for their vaccine..hope NDP does ensure investigation takes place...really shameful that this has happened...a big blemish on this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a short experience with this place and it was a wonderful one mostly because of a nurse name “Kamal” at the 7th floor who is very responsible and caring person.
Because of the great care received from this nurse and the overal experience I would recommend Villa Leonardo Gambin. :)

I felt very comfortable at Villa Leonardo everyone adresses me by my name not a "student" the staff is very friendly management smiles and the residents are wonderful the culture of the facility is great and I must say the food looked absolutely delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Leonardo Gambin is by far the very best Long Term Care facility in the GTA. Very professional and caring staff. I highly recommend VLG to families that are looking for a great living environment for their loved ones. My good friend Nicola lived at VLG for almost three years. He was well taken care of by all staff. Thank you Villa Leonardo Gambin for all that you do from the heart. ❤?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My aunt is currently in palliative care and I have to say that I was saddened to see her suffering in pain. This is NOT supposed to happen. End of life care should be different. My cousins have had to keep asking for pain management increases. They are missing doses and while I was there as a visitor, one of the nurses asked ME to give my aunt her pills when she wakes up. That is intolerable and dangerous. She is writhing in pain when she shouldn't be. As nice as some of the staff are with my family, the doctor was insensitive, with no bedside manner at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been having issues with the home for a couple of months now… a resident has been harassing my mom daily with death threats and death comments and rude comments… (in Italian) my mom calls the office almost daily and I’ve been calling and now emailing about this issue. The solutions to this issue have not and will not resolve this as the resident is of sound mind and keeps doing it! It has gotten to the point it is effecting my mothers health and myself. I have gone to head office with the issue and nothing. I’m soo frustrated! It is soo sad that the elderly have to live in these conditions. All homes are the same… my mom is in a wheelchair chair with Parkinson’s and the other resident is mobile… the solutions are benefiting the resident harassing my mom! My mom has made a lot of friends there… She doesn’t want to move… I don’t know what else to do….
