A	Anuj Shrivastava on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. The people, the food, the spice the chicken - they nailed it all. I will be visiting this place every other day until I have tried everything on their menu. A chicken lover's paradise. Tenders: I have had the extra hot and the hot and both are perfect. The skin is crispy and hot, the chicken more so. These dip offered balances the spice nicely and adds a fresh note to a very savory affair. I have had them twice, with crinkle fries. The fires could maybe do with some more seasoning but they are very crispy. OG sando and the jerk sando: OG was amazing, the chicken was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The sauce used in the sandwich complemented the chicken very well. The chicken piece inside was a bit large for a sandwich that size making it difficult to manage it with one hand but that is just a personal preference. I did not like the Jerk Sando, the chicken was dry for my taste. It was nicely seasoned too but the chicken felt too dry and chewy making it an unpleasant experience. It is entirely possible that I got one bad sandwich and Jerk Sando is pretty good but I will only be able to confirm once I try it again.
B	Bera C.Y.C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We finally decided to brave the line-up and check out Downlow Chicken Shack. We had the "two by four" combo, the "original" and the "rookie" sando. The fried chicken was very tender and the sauces and spices were very complimentary with the sandwich. As a personal preference, next time, I will ask for half the amount of the spices because it was a bit too much flavour. All in all, it was excellent food and service and definitely worth the wait. We will be back!
M	Marc C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! It was our first time walking by and not seeing a gigantic lineup, so we decided we try this restaurant. Since there are multiple choices and we did not what to expect, we ordered the first item on the menue, called "The Original" The fried chicken was covered in a flavorful batter with what I would call Southern spices, was placed in a burger style bun. The box was filled with first class French fries, also covered with flourverfull spices and last but not least, the food box contained a water bottle. All this for $20. Not cheap, but good. The only thing I would caution about, is the fact that this type of food should be eaten on the spot and should not be shipped for to long, because your bun and your fries will turn eventually soggy. Highly recommended.
T	T V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting and not disappointed. The portion is large and tastes very good. I ordered "the pizza" and side of fries. The sandwich itself was moist however, I did find it a little salty for my liking but I wouldn't say that it makes it un-enjoyable. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu and suggest checking it out if you are in the area. Free parking down the back lane at Brittania secondary.

I like that it serves with pickles, but I’m not a big fan of the bread, maybe it’s for absorbing all the chicken goodness at the bottom, I just saved them for my wife, I saved her a piece of chicken too, so I’m not a total jerk. LOL.

Definitely god sent, every ingredient in this burger makes it unforgettable. I can’t think of a better chicken place! Also their customer service is above and beyond amazing. All their staff are so kind and put the customer first. Nothing but the best things to say about them!!
M	Mehr Poulad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good. Went on a Tuesday afternoon, no line up at all. However, I hear it can be busy and you should expect to wait in line. Ordered the original Sando with the Mac salad. Can choose between white or brown meat. I chose thunder as my heat level, honestly wasn’t spicy more Peppery than anything. Portions are decent size but not too much. Fries are also really good.
I	Ian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious chicken sandwich with layers of flavor and satisfying chicken. Suggestions for ordering: ask for light sauce as I've gotten too much sauce both times I've ordered and it causes the bun to get soggy almost immediately. Also skip the fries unless you're sharing as the chicken sandwich is very large and filling. Fries are pretty good, although not as good as waffle fries from Frying Pan.
