ambience is good, staff are amazing. My girlfriends and I came in for brunch. We booked in advance and they make sure that our party of 8 are going to be able to sit side by side as at the time there is still a covid restriction of how many people are allowed in table gathering. So thank you! Ordered a benedict, eggs looks healthy. Overall food is good. I just wish the portion of cafe are a little bigger. ☺️ but other than that, social place for brunch in the heart of yaletown. ?

Nice downtown location with several levels which adds to the sense of intimacy. Bright refreshing decor, motivated staff. Artfully presented food with delicious fresh flavors. The fried rice for brunch with ginger and pork had a lovely blend of flavors and textures and was very satisfying.

Great dinner spot with cool, relaxed vibes. The menu is smaller, but all of the items we ordered were so good. We ordered the mushrooms starter and spicy pork cheek, mussels, lamb shank, and hanger steak. My lamb shank was perfectly cooked and paired with a super rich side of creamy polenta. The hanger steak that I tried was also delicious. Highly recommend for a night out. I will definitely try their rotisserie "full monty" chicken meal next time

**COVID Edition** With the COVID regulations, my group arrived in 2 parties - a party of 6, and a party of 4. We sat in separate tables and did everything separately. Not sure if it's due to COVID regulations, maybe staffing was limited? However, our food between the two groups did not arrive nearly around the same time. One group finished their food by the time the second group got their food. So there was a bit of delay in having to stay at the restaurant longer and wait till the second group finished their food. Our waitress was very lovely and patient with us. She walked us through the menu and despite forgetting to bring our wine bottle, she tried her best to get everything in for us in a timely manner. There were definitely hits and misses on their menu. But love love love their large portions! We ordered the Rotisserie The Full Monty, which was massive - recommend for either 2 very hungry big eaters or ideally 3 people. - Chicken was one of the best ever had however the ribs were a miss. Hot sauce gave tabasco vibes. Buttermilk biscuits were a miss as well - thought it'd be similar to Red Lobster but did not make the cut. Other recommendations: - Steak Tartare - Chicken Liver Parfait - Fries (extra crispy) - Oysters (there were mixed reviews on this one, but I enjoyed it) - HSCB Burger - Lamb Shank Mixed reviews on the Mussels - one enjoyed having the fries soaked in the mussels sauce, gave it more flavor. However the other felt like they had better Mussels elsewhere. So this one depends on one's taste preferences.

Tonight was very special. The experience that Homer St. offered was spectacular. We were greeted with such wonderfully happy staff that spoiled us their genuine kindness. Then came the cocktails that blew us away. Our server David was a brilliant guide along our journey through the menu. The Burrata starter was a fresh, crunchy and deliciously tasty salad that we really enjoyed. Our mains were the Mussels and the Lamb. David's recommendation of the lamb was perfect. If you get a chance to sit at the Kitchen Bar area, especially facing thr Chef, you are in for a truly magical experience. The rhythm that this carries through their service is poetry in motion. Highly recommend this spot.

Our first impression was not good. We waited by the door for the place to open at 10:30 am for brunch and once we approached the hostess (Melissa) she was unwelcoming, cold and dismissive. The manager (Tom) spoke to me about it and his demeanor was professional, concerned and very apologetic and smoothed things over with us. It was a relief to see someone of his capability in charge, because we felt that the hostess for whatever reason just did not want to seat us, and actually told me, "well....I'll seat you but you have to be out by 12!". Our server (Nancy) was just as great as the manager and shocked of our first experience at the front as far as first impressions go. The Americanos we ordered were great! Really nice rustic and full body flavour perfect for your first morning cup of coffee served in a sparkling clean coffee mug and piping hot. However, I wasn't crazy about the French Toast. I'm not sure why but it was covered with a massive amount of whip cream. I mean sure....I've had french toast with some whip cream but this was more like.....whip cream with french toast and not the other way around. I did manage to wipe most of it off my toast but after a little while there was just a pool of melted whip cream in the plate....kinda confused me a little bit as to ...why? why put so much? Aside from the food. This experience was a perfect example of the quality of any restaurant being reflective of its team work. It was only and only because of the manager's response to his incapable, unprofessional and, in my opinion, unsuitable hostess that we are willing to possibly return or tell our friends about this cozy little cafe. Our server's friendly attitude, attention and hard work breathed new air into the foul first impression we received from a very polar team member.

One of my new favourite brunch spots in Yaletown. Sneaky, hole in the wall location. The eggs Benny was cooked to perfection. Excellent service, friendly staff and amazing coffee. The food did take some time, but it was well worth the wait. Definitely want to come back for dinner.

Spent our NYE here and we had a great time. The place was packed and the service was good. Our meals were a tad late but they gave us free white wine to compensate for the wait. We ordered their Full Monty and it was great. We loved the chicken and the ribs. Meal is good for 3-4. I particularly loved their Cheesecake and Line Margaritas. We will be back and next time with the kids.
