Favourite chicken on the drive! Owners are super friendly, and the chilli chicken burger has a great sauce-crispy, moist, and not greasy at all. I'd recommend calling ahead to place an order.

I walked up and was instantly met with a friendly greeting and a smile and asked what I wanted. I got the chicken burger and was not disappointed. Tasty and spicy with some crispy fries to go along with it! I will be coming back here to support this local small business.

This is the best fried chicken I have ever had. The only thing that even comes close is Eziels in Seattle. The spices are perfect and totally customizable. The batter is perfectly crunchy and stays stuck on the chicken as you eat it unlike other chicken shops nearby who's skin and batter slide off as soon as you take a bite. Another difference, always cooked in fresh oil which makes a world of difference. They use organic free range halal chickens always and last but not least it is a fraction of the cost of almost any fast food or specialty chicken shop in town. The owner is kind and friendly, it is run by only he and his wife to help keep costs down. And they work hard! You can call ahead and he will get your order ready for you. I never write reviews but this hard working couple deserve all the good feedback this neighborhood can give them so they can keep selling us the absolute best chicken!!!

Don’t let the looks or location disappoint you. This is one of the best places to enjoy juicy, crispy and flavourful fried chicken. The prices are fair and you can tell that the chickens were grown with care and cooked well. We have tried their original and lemon pepper flavour. Both were fart-inducingly delicious in a good way. We will be back to try other menu items. We hope they add gravy and mashed potatoes to their menu to make it perfect five stars. Highly recommended.

Possibly the best chicken sandwich you can get in the city for under $10. At least the best I've had so far. It's a better deal than a lot of fast food places and the sandwich is so tasty. The chicken is excellent and then the sauce and coleslaw just puts it over the top.

Just notice they have reopened. Serving fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, fish and chips and poutine. I tried a crispy fried half chicken with a side of Mac & Cheese and both were excellent. They cut the chicken into about 9 pieces so it makes it easy to share.

I feel like this place is similar to korean fried chicken despite not being korean fried chicken. It's not the standard leg/thigh or breast/wing. Reviews claim they just chop up a whole chicken (apparently, read below). Prices are cheaper than korean fried chicken places by maybe $3 or so. I ordered a full order with the cheese powder. Someone said the half order had 9 pieces so I expected the full order to have 18, but it only had 15. I also expected a whole chicken to be chopped up but I had 2 legs, 2 necks, no wings, 2 drumettes, a whole lot of breast pieces, 2 partial pieces of thigh. Even though it's not a full chicken, the volume in the box was as full as korean fried chicken places. The crispiness was really really good but the cheese powder was just okay - didn't have much flavor. The best part is that the full order comes with a side - we picked fries. The fries were delicious! Freshly fried, with some seasoning on top. For the price, it is worth it. I would definitely order again but probably the original fried chicken.

After what seems like a year of renos, this chicken place is finally open. Previously a donair shop, a family seems to have taken over selling fried chicken. They have seats but currently only accept takeout. You can order at the door through a speaker, or online. The father/husband seem to be in charge of the entire shop while the wife is feeding a little child and keeping them entertained. You can watch TV while you wait for your order. We got a full flavored chicken(cheese) and half crispy. We got a side of fries with gravy. A side and a drink comes with your order too so we for mac & cheese. My GF pointed out that they also fry mars bars, which is kind of hidden away on their menu. Their entire menu is just boarded to the wall outside. The chicken is so good! Its like korean fried chicken, and a good value too. The chicken is bone in and just hacked up in big chunks so expect to nibble some bone(i prefer this because i think its fun to do). The cheese powder is kind of sweet, and theres dried herbs mixed in. Crispy chicken is good too but id probably just get flavored next time. Fries seems to be those battered fries you get from costco. If you have had those then you know what to expect. Gravy is a little lumpy. Mac & cheese is just KD, it's a little under-seasoned. The chicken i think is the highlight and everything is made to order. I would've liked some home-made mac & cheese imo and options to pay for extra sides. For the value i think it's incredible! So nice to have it so close-by us and we will definitely take advantage whenever we can.
