It’s not just about the pizza eating ads, but mostly about a conversation Mr. Gabana had with Michaela, a lovely model who felt uncomfortable about the ads and approached Mr. Gabana with her concerns. In his conversations with Michaela he was clearly racist (I would prefer not repeat it because it really bothers me. But, it’s not hard to find on google.)Later Mr. Gabana tried to cover up his behavior with the excuse of “culture differences” without mentioning a single word about his previous speech. I never shopped at D&G on Bloor so this review is not about the boutique, and I am only trying to reveal the whole picture about this upsetting affair.

One a side note : if all the people who said harsh comments about them actually had the means to shop there the brand wouldn't be ultra lux anymore. It would be like gap. So calm down people and move on lol They made a mistake just like all of you have done so let's not be a keyboard worriers here and move on with you lives... Frowning will only give you wrinkles ???
R	Ryan Ridley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this boutique before and had a great experience. Customer service in person was pretty decent. Called back today about an item I wanted to pick up. I’m about two and a half hours out from this location and didn’t want to take the trip if they didn’t have the item in stock and if the price wasn’t going to be the same as online (as it wasn’t the same in the store last trip. It was more expensive in store). During my call the customer service rep I was on the phone with was pretty rude. Talking over me, not being able to answer questions, just kind of responding to questions with sarcasm and rudeness. Not really trying to take a two hour plus drive and spend $368 on a t shirt from a place after getting that kind of service.

It was pleasant experience. “Alaya” went beyond to help me picking up sweatshirt for my boyfriend. She was awesome❤️. Indeed manager was nice. Overall, it was one of the best shopping experience.

When I look at all these negative reviews on here, it is not on account of the products but rather the service at this store only. In my opinion it all starts from the top down. Lorraine Chan will and is the demise of this flagship location. With her leadership influence she and a part of her management team shares no interest in even the bare minimum of what could be expected in a store, let alone gracious customer service. Lorraine Chan is unobliging, rude and a deterrent for anyone who comes in to purchase one of your beautiful creations.
