★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful experience I have had on the water with Kye. She always knows how to put the biggest smile on my face. She makes me feel so comfortable with everything whether it is a kayaking tour or a standup paddle board yoga class. She ensures that we have lots of laughs and smiles on all of our adventures. Last but not least, she is so well educated of what the Salish Sea has to offer. Can't wait to get back out on the water with her someday soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had never kayaked before our 2hr excursion. The owner gave me and my BF a great explanation of what not to do and how to have a great time on our own. We cruised around the shore and watched the sun set from the kayaks! Better still, I didn't tip my kayak! Great instruction made for a fantastic experience - we'll be back next season! ^__^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've rented paddleboards from Dog Mermaid on Pender Island twice and both experiences were AMAZING! Kye is super quick to respond and very friendly. She makes sure you've got all the equipment you need to head out on your adventure. The prices are very reasonable for the service that you get. I would not hesitate to recommend Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions to anyone who is visiting Pender Island!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Pender on the weekend where we had record breaking heat, and thanks to Dog Mermaid I was able to beat the heat by getting out onto the water!
Johnny took me on a sea kayak tour and his knowledge of the local waters, flora, fauna made the trip not only fun, but I learned some amazing new things.
I don’t know much about sea kayaks, but i was very comfortable in my “storm” and feel like I was able to pick up the sport relatively quickly!
The paddle board I rented the next day was very nice and seemed brand new. Was able to hit the water and do some yoga easily!
Kye, the owner and Johnny my guide were both extremely laid back, accommodating, and hilarious. I will definitely recommend this eco rental and tour shop to any/everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such an amazing time paddle boarding and kayaking with Dog Mermaid, they are in such a beautiful area and the tour guide was great!
Johnny and Kye are amazing and knowledgeable, and they make it so fun! They have a wide variety of equipment, so it is great for the whole family.
Would highly recommend!
