Tried 3 different times of day on 2 different days then gave up. I don't need to give my business to a company that can't be bothered to answer their phone so I can order and save me a trip. After the third attempt, I called the Benjamin Moore store in Nanaimo and got a friendly helpful salesperson. She answered my questions, asked me questions and is ordering what I need. Since I drive up that way regularly I will be giving them my business.

The staff, especially Katie, were super knowledgeable and answered my 1 million questions - while managing to keep no one waiting long. I highly recommend this place!

She took some swatches from right beside us and gave them to this customer. Never acknowledged our presence or said "I'll be with you in a moment" and then started serving the woman who came into the store well after us. We left. Won't be back.

Called to inquire about a paint suitable for metal (and which is advertised on the web site) and the person I spoke to could not have been less helpful. No, they don't carry it....full stop. No offer to order it from Benjamin Moore, no suggestion where I might call, just got the impression I was disturbing her day. Called Color Your World instead - total opposite. Sure, they carry suitable paint, sure they can tint it any color I want. What a difference. I'm doing a bunch of renovations - guess who will be my first call from now on. Guess who won't get a dime of my business.
