I have been woken up at 3am to operate on a dog, Flew back from a vacation early to replace a cast on a cat’s leg and driving 9 hours straight to assist and fill in for a surgery on a Great Dane. I LOVE MY JOB and helping animals brings my joy however I can’t do it for free. When I get a call to help a pet with an emergency it is just that an emergency I do not have the time to have the pet owners fill out their contracts or apply for credit. This means I do the work first and hope I can get paid for it after all is said and done and the dust settles. Operating my business this way almost put me out of business until I found Dixon Commercial. Now I don’t worry about if I am going to get paid for the job I am doing. As far as I am concerned that is Dixon Commercial’s problem.

I bought membership with Dixon to collect my debtor. I have 2 file for them are collecting right now. When I bought membership they told me that Calgary has their office that you saw above but when I bought it and they told me every thing only CATHARINE , ON. This location is not exit. As membership contract they will received fee by % they collected I sent them to collect my tenant on Mar 9, 2017 amount $1300( rent+$20/day late rent), but on Mar 12, 2017 my tenant wanted to move out and I sent her an Notice of 14 day to vacant. I did call DIXON and talked to customer service to cancel my file, they told me I cannot cancel by phone I have to go to their website to file a request of cancellation. I did filed a request. But, in early April 4 or 5, I received call from my tenant and a collector agent that my file still active. I told the collector that I did cancel my file and tenant still have to pay me not for the rent only penalty for breach contract but I have not file for collection yet. Collector agent advised me to send her correct amount I want to collect and I did sent her as advised. I checked online on my file that my amount of collection total amount $ 1300 + 698.51 ( new revise) and with $1300 PAID. I called in to talk with collection agent and she confirmed that she collected only $ 40 of amount $698.51 as ex-tenant paid lump sum amount for every month. She advised me to call customer service to adjudge amount. I did called many many time left a lot messages but no reply or call back at all. I emailed them but they were slowly reply. And I received the fee bill from DIXON demand me to pay fee for $ 130 ( 10% of $1300 amount no one know where it is). I called again and again tried to talk to them in person, called collection agent and email and email but they still said that I have to pay for their work. They violated contract and keep sending me bills demand to pay. 2, second file number is : for amount of $162k and have $0 money collected. I want to cancel this contract but maybe they will billed me of % fee without collect nothing. Be ware of this company you want to collect money from your debtor they will collect you instead.

They called my office several times to try and get our business. When I tell them no thanks they get upset. Not everyone wants to use you guys. Deal!

I had a tenant that skipped out on me owing 4 months rent. Took some time but they used skip tracing to track them down and arranged a payment plan that so far has been paid every month.

They are Misrepresenting me with my client and they even they created more problem than what my clients did. They hung up on my calls three separate times, and never answered the emails I sent them ... I definitely do not recommend this company's services to any business

**0 STARS** **SCAM COMPANY** I've never used them and I never will. Just by reading the reviews I can see that Dixon has paid people to put good reviews on. I only gave it 5 stars so that it might make it to the top of their list. Read the reviews on Trust Pilot's website. Those are more accurate.

We were not pleased with the service our Lethbridge branch received from this collection agency. They did not reply to questions; they did not follow up when they said they would; they changed agents on the files without advising us or bringing the new agent up to date; they duplicated case numbers for the same account; their own online reporting system was not updated for more than a year and when advised, they said they knew; left hand didn't update right hand in their office - we would get faxed solicitations requesting new files, while old ones were either not being worked on satisfactorily or were withdrawn due to unsatisfactory service; etc.

Never gave updates on our account or where they were at with the collection process, we always had to call for updates even when we were told they would call us. Our agent changed multiple times without our knowledge or information on how to reach them. Multiple times I had to give the new agent contact information for the client we were trying to collect from... information that was listed publicly on the internet. Wouldn't use Dixon again. Giving two stars because they did mail out a useful package of material to use for future non-paying clients.
