Called for the first time and got amazing service. I've always been scared to talk to a stranger and get judge but that wasn't the case at all. He calmed me down and really tried to understand the situation. Ill be calling back for sure in case of emergency like today. Thank you!

Waited an hour then got hung up on. Triggered me even more and made my situation worse. This number is a complete waste of time and funding. 0/10

Another case of frequently having the longest wait times. I asked once how many responders there are (after the countdown to gets to "one" & still an extreme wait). Was told 6. "Thank you for remaining on the line, all of our responders are currently with other callers. Your call will be answered in queue by the next available responder." I'd much prefer the hold music; this message irritates!!!!! Some responders are amazingly understanding, but I have heard the "Ohhh....That must be hard..." which led to my calling the US SP Lifeline with huge success!!!

I've been on hold for a ridiculously long time. For a 'crisis' line this is incredibly dangerous. Not only does it take a lot of courage to ask for help when you're in CRISIS but to be on hold when you're potentially a danger to yourself or someone else is kinda atrocious. Don't bother calling here.

I’ve been on hold for so long, almost 2 hours now and still waiting. I literally finished the entire movie Good Will Hunting, made some food and went to the store. I’m still on hold and the automated voice that says β€œthank you for reminding on the line, all of our responders are with other callers, your call will be answered in queue” is very annoying. If I was going end my life tonight I don’t think they would know or care. Terrible service. For a β€œdistress line” this is disgusting, and the person responding to reviews isn’t helpful either. Just another phone number to be put on hold. Is this business even active?

This distress line used to be the best. I used this it for many years while recovering from PTSD. But in the last 6 months they’ve reorganised. You used to get a full hour with a trained professional; now you have to wait 3 hours for a 10-minute β€˜consultation’. I don’t know what person experiencing ideation to harm themselves would hang on for 3 hours to be rudely dismissed after 10 minutes. Shameful.

Some of the counselors are good, some are really....ill-equipped. Wait times are TOO LONG. Can't tell me you don't have enough funding for a few more volunteer counselors. This line becomes almost pointless and defeats the purpose if someone has to wait over an hour.
