My husband and I worked with the Diane and Jen team to sell our home in Ottawa and they were outstanding. We happened to particularly work with Diane Allingham. Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. The Diane and Jen team stood out, we could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We first met with Diane who toured our home (all COVID precautions taken) and then spoke with both Diane and Jen virtually. They answered our questions, providing objective data about Engel & Volkers, themselves and the market in Ottawa as well as a clear marketing plan for our upcoming listing. Diane and Jen made the process incredibly easy. When we saw our listing we were blown away. The photographs were gorgeous, the listing was well written and very quickly, our phones were buzzing with showing requests. Being a first time homebuyer, especially for a single individual, can be an extremely daunting and overwhelming task. You have no idea where to start, where to go, what to do, or who to talk to. Worse still, when you have a 'small' budget, many realtors will treat you like you aren't even worth their time.
