During our initial meeting, Alex got to know us and the list of essentials we wanted in a home. Alex used terms that were easy for us to comprehend and made sure all our questions were answered. He was prompt and available, day and evening, throughout our entire search, as well as the buying process. He made sure all the properties we wanted to bid on were placed on time and were competitive, which was very important as the market was moving quickly. Alex was very knowledgeable about each neighbourhood we visited and was always on time for our meetings. When showing us various properties, Alex pointed out highlights of each place and things to look out for. Alex had great connections and rapport with professionals we needed during our buying process, such as a mortgage broker and lawyer. Thank you for finding us our first home Alex! We would be delighted to work with Alex again in the future.
N	Nico on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How did we get buy the perfect home during a pandemic, through crazy bidding wars, and as first-time home buyer? I have no idea... but Reed Allen and Tim Connolly do! Through the whole process, Reed knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and had an answer to every questions we had. He has great connections for other services (like home inspectors) and made arrangements for them seem easy. Very patient, efficient, and definitely a vocal advocate for his clients (i.e. a group of buyers were trying to squeeze into our viewing time slot, when they were told to bite the dust in the most professional and polite way I've ever heard). I would definitely recommend the Tulip Team!

We had a tenant as well and he handled the communication with her which made our lives easier. Overall I would recommend Alex and the tulip team to anyone looking to sell their property. Our only minor complaint is that the company they used to put on the "Sale" sign did not choose the best location (We live on a corner). This was fixed quickly though.

Very quickly, Alex came to understand what we were after and directed us to appropriate places when they came up. More recently, we switched our search from rentals to purchases. Alex has been honest, open, and fair with his feedback and his selection. He's altered search parameters when we asked him to, and advised us well in preparing the offer and what would be reasonable. The Tulip Team have been amazing through a stressful process for first time buyers. Cannot recommend them enough.

Owen is extremely knowledgeable in the Ottawa area and market. I was looking to purchase a home on the outskirts of Ottawa, somewhere where I can work remotely but still have the atmosphere of a town. Owen knows the pros and cons of every area and was always prepared at each showing with research. He is always able to give great advice and you can count on him to give you an honest opinion. He made the home buying experience fun (which is difficult in this market)! I was able to find my dream home with-in a few weeks of looking and I truly believe that the 'offer accepted call' had a lot to do with Owen's communication with the selling agent. I most definitely recommend using Owen in the Tulip team to anyone looking for a positive buying or selling experience.

As first time home buyers, we knew nothing about purchasing a home AND the market was not in our favour. With the low inventory of properties, it was a constant bidding war and, again, as first time home buyer we didn't have any equity to help us out. Ryan was always optimistic and so sure that we would find our dream starter home. He was extremely responsive and would always get back to me within an hour or two, but often quicker than that. He was always up for a showing and even multiples in a day. He connected us with our mortgage broker, whom we LOVE working with. And when the time came, he connected us with our lawyer. Truly a beginning to end level of service! His opinion was so valuable and we grew to trust his word about what would be too much to offer, problems with the homes, and he ALWAYS went above and beyond to find out more information about houses for us (utility costs, extra parking spaces, etc). It was definitely a tiring experience due to the way the market is right now and we sometimes thought about just giving up. But Ryan would send us another interesting house and off we went to try for another one. He was so convinced and driven to find us our home that it made us feel that way as well. While I'm glad the process is over, we're sad to not chat with Ryan regularly anymore and we will 100% work with him again + recommend him to everyone we know.
