Extremely satisfied with my experience here. Knowledgeable staff. A straight-forward approach. Pricing was totally fair. I came in with a backup cam to install, they made sure before taking on the job that the product worked and that I understood what to expect in advance. Flawless installation. Unless I move to a new city, Diamond Stereo will be getting my business for all my vehicles going forward.

I bought a Marantz amplifier with Polk speakers and asked if my two other Polk speakers would work the get all four channels at 100 Watts. Yes I was told. It didn't work so well. I brought my system back and was told that the impedance was to low and that's why it would cut of at high volume. Put the speakers in series and increase the impedance and get the four speakers working at high volume. Kind of worked but not really. Diamond is more focused on car audio, dash cams and security.. I strongly recommend against them for in house sound systems.

Just left here with some work done on my kia soul, the owner and team give great service, dash cam installed proper and sub rattle noise fixed, this is my 5th stereo store in 20 years and the best by fast, so many options inside the clean store for home and auto with fair prices, I highly recommend this place and I will be back for all my car related electronic needs, thanks again for your time and help today greatly appreciated!!! As I bought a stereo from this store,I was very disappointed that the brothers had sold the business to a new fellow , which has shown me never to go back , fast talking new owner that just wanted a sale , first he ( Brendon) asked me so I grabbed my cell , he than accused me of being a CRIMINAL, I asked him to help me using my blue tooth ,he snapped back saying read your owner’s manual, I replied can’t you give me 5 mins , I had to make 5 trips from poco to maple ridge , every time I was given zero customer service & rude disrespectful customer service, myself & my family will never go there again & it’s sad the two brothers had to move on

I don’t usually write reviews but I was pretty displeased with my experience here. I bought a Dodge Ram in 2017 and dealership included a backup camera install from here. Everything was well until camera stopped working last year. Dodge told me since it’s after market, they can’t do anything and to contact diamond stereo. I called diamond stereo and confirmed with one of two managers if they could take a look at the camera at no charge. I stressed the no charge because I live in coquitlam and it’s not worth my time or gas to drive out there for something I can replace myself. The manager I spoke with over the phone confirmed it would be no charge. I took my truck in a few days later for the appointment. Once they finished looking at it, they told me the camera was dead and I needed a new one. I told them I didn’t want to replace it at the time and I would explore my options. When it was time to leave, they slapped me with a bill for ‘looking’ at the camera. I paid around $60 or $80 for them to tell me they couldn’t help me. The person I spoke to on the phone wasn’t in the shop and I was dealing with the second manager. I told him what conversation I had with the other manager and he told me that’s not right and I had to pay it. I didn’t want to argue and they wouldn’t give my key back till I paid it so I was pretty upset. I called the other manager the next day and explained what happened and he confirmed I shouldn’t have been charged for anything and that he could give me a credit toward anything in the store. I didn’t really want a credit because I shouldn’t have paid that to begin with. To this day I haven’t been back to the store to even use the credit (if they meant to give me one). I just wanted a refund for something I shouldn’t have paid for. On top of this experience, my camera started flickering in an out a few days later which meant the camera was not dead as they told me it was and that it’s probably a wiring issue. So I’m not sure how experienced their technicians are.

This place offers high quality merchandise. The customer service is exceptional, as well as the deals. This past summer, I met with one of the owners (I believe his name was Ray... I remember him from their old Coquitlam/Burnaby location, way back in the days on North Rd). Ray provided me great service. His recommendation on products was honest and professional. Furthermore, he hooked up an AMAZING discount. My family and I are enjoying our in-dash screen. Ray's install team did a great job cleaning up the wiring mess left behind by someone else who had previously installed my amps, subs and component speakers in my F150. Thank you Ray and Diamond Stereo. I will return in the future for any car audio needs I have. I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone.
