The fried potatoes were yummy but that was the only part of my meal that I finished. The rest of the meal was underseasoned and less than fresh. Unfortunately, I think this restaurant is suffering from low quality ingredients.

Since I was in Pitt Meadow, I googled for a good restaurant around, hoping to have a nice meal in a nice decor. When Google Map showed Home Restaurant with 4.3 stars and 1,124 photos, I looked no further! When I arrived at the outside entrance of Home Restaurant where some customers were waiting to be called in, I was joyfully excited about how busy the restaurant was and felt sure that I had come to the right place. I liked the bright and comfortable interior setting of the restaurant, the pretty looking young hostess who seated me in a cheerful booth with a nostalgic picture on the wall, and the courteous male server who patiently gave me minutes to decide what to eat - the glass of hot water he brought with a slice of lemon placed on the edge of the glass and some honey was just wonderful! I was wholeheartedly content until my first bite of the salty mashed potato and the salty gravy on my roasted beef. I looked around - every one was happily eating; I looked out the window through the drapes - people were keeping coming. I knew it was just my personal problem of taste.

A	Anton Samson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was very good but the burger and fries were so-so. Would suggest ordering something else! Maybe turkey or schnitzel. Coffee is a bit pricey ($3.60 for a small cup) as well but free refills. Side of gravy was $2.49.

I have dined at this restaurant over ten years. I know the full size order looks like, usually much bigger box than this tiny box with less than half full. Not coming back again.
K	Kyle Elder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for home cooked meal with the family. I had the Liver and Onions and it was huge. I subbed the mashed potatoes for fries. Was delicious and will definitely order again. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
