Right from the get go in the crazy market of bidding wars and high demands to buying a house, Derrick was determined to find us the perfect place we could call home. He seemed to intuitively know when we were in houses that were not a match for our needs. As well, he reiterated to have patience and thankfully we listened as he found us that special place we now call “home.” I love how Derrick made the transition an easy process and also went above and beyond with his lovely welcome home gifts when we got the keys! He came and helped stage my home for sale, always answered my questions and checked in regularly during the sale and purchase of my new condo. My house sold fast which was a main priority for me and he found the condo of my dreams. Derrick will make it happen when it comes to selling or buying your dream home. I have used other realtors in the past and Derrick was by far the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and patient realtor. He listened to what I was looking for and found plenty of homes that met all of my needs. Derrick was not afraid to let me know his opinion when I asked and he definitely helped me in making my final decision and feeling confident about it. Once we found the home I wanted, Derrick fought very hard to get me the lowest price possible and get a lot of additions included into my deal that I wouldn’t have even thought possible. His background and experience in contracting, construction, and landscaping was an asset that became very useful. I never once felt pressured or rushed to make decisions and was completely comfortable looking around at houses with him. He assisted my wife and I in coming up with an acceptable marketable price for our home, developed high end marketing materials such as pro pics and provided a Home Staging professional to help us position our home in the most appealing way. He put together a great marketing strategy and proceeded to contact his network of sales reps. Well to say we were happy with the results would be a gross understatement. Through his network we had a showing a day after listing and had an offer that afternoon. After some negotiating we had a deal very close to listing price. I have always been cynical of Realtors but Derrick is a gem and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Over a few pizza and wine sessions we have established a personal relationship with Derrick. He is just a nice guy.
